Chilli: ‘Usher and I look like we just go together!’

Celebrity blogger Necole Bitchie scored an in depth interview with TLC member Chilli. In the interview posted on Necole’s blog on Friday, Chilli talks about everything from the one she let get away (funny man Marlon Wayans), boxer Floyd Mayweather (Keyshia Cole‘s roll dawg) to the fact that she can’t get over her feelings for her ex Ursher.

In a revealing moment, Chilli alluded to the fact that Usher and his wife Tameka don’t look as good together in pictures as she and Usher did:

And of course I do want him to be happy and all but me and him had what I never had in any of my other relationships, and that was chemistry. Even in that picture that you have up. Any picture that you see with the two of us, you see it. It’s just there! I could be standing next to him til this day and people will be like “Wow”. It’s not that you are wondering if we are back together again, it’s just that we look like we just go together.

When did Chilli start talking about Usher. You couldn’t get her to speak about the realtionship before now she’s still in love wtih him? I wonder if her new single has anything to do with it. Funny how celebrities start opening up when they are trying to promote something. (ie. Janet Jackson). Yes…they did look good together but that doesn’t give you a window in their relationship. Behind closed doors, they probably barely talked to each other or something. I have found that the couples who look good together always break up. I had a gf who used to talk about how her and her guy got along and NEVER argued. Okay…Why are they no longer together!!!

Maybe she is just now comfortable to talk about their relationship. Once you get over the anger and the hurt you begin to heal…this just might be part of her healing process. Trina will be at this stage soon…lol

Yeah, sometimes when you’ve been hurt so badly it takes a while to heal and get over the hurt. And sometimes you do say bad things about the ex that you really don’t mean but it is just the hurt talking. I’ve been there before. Sometimes it takes the ex’s moving on with their lives for you to realize: hey, I still love this person and obviously he ain’t thinkin bout me no more because he has someone else. That is a difficult situation to be in.

Chilli is not slick..first she says he did the ultimate no no, then in S2S she says they just drifted apart..now it’s her closed walls and his immaturity..booboo make up your mind..I think she’s a little salty that Tameka got the ring and the baby which is what she wanted from the get go..Did they look good together yes, because that’s what we were used too..be honest anybody looks good with Usher besides Tameka.it is what it is no hate..now she put him on the spot to answer in a hopefully diplomatic way so Tameka doesn’t cut him..but as we know Usher is alot of things but diplomatic he is not..this is really petty of Chilli..wait, doesn’t she have an album coming out soon?

When you read or listen (scoll to the bottom of page) to the entire interview, it is pretty clear she was not out of line in saying she will always love Usher after all this time. There is a difference between loving someone and being in love. Besides I’m sure if she really wanted him back she could have had him, while he was rebounding and putting their biz out there during confessions. Also He was’nt the only lover she disscussed.

To everybody that has ever been in love. Theres always one particular person that you will love for every and one that maybe was marriage material but due to issues at the time it never happened.

But home girl is right they had chemistry, something that him and wifey lack. The only thing that makes Usher & Tameka’s union believeable is the fact they have known one another for years and his Mother appears to disagree with the relationship.

Well they did look good together but CLEARLY it takes more than being photogenic to make a relationship work or he wouldn’t have cheated on her and married another woman.

I honestly think Chilli has moved on, she just has not found the right man for her. And remember it was Tameka who started talking shit about her in the Essense Mag interview, although she never said her name but it was clear who she was refering too.

In any case nobody really knows how things went down between Usher and Chilli…was Tameka the reason, its a guessing game. One thing is for sure Usher has definetly lost his swagger in my opinion.

Tasia ~ We already know Tameka has a bad attitude. It radiates from her in every photo. Chilli needs to just let it go. She’s not getting back together with him so why talk about how good they looked together? Let it go and move on to someone who will love you and only you.

While I lost some respect for Usher when the whole Tameka situation went down, musically I’m still a fan. I don’t think he’s lost his swagger at all. I’m loving his new song and video. Waiting for that album….

Well I ain thinking about no album….Usher lost out, that whole sh*t with Tameaka threw me off, especially when there were rumors that he was still trying to get Chilli back…I still give Chilli the same advice I gave Trina, be strong! However, Usher was lame for marrying a damn near 40 yr old with stretch marks and transvestite tendencies, +3 kids from a previous marriage, which not to mention he was apart of BREAKING UP, and on top of that his mother doesn’t even like her!!! I am not waiting for the album…

Ham hocks and hot sauce look good together, too – until you have heartburn and high blood pressure….then you realize the combination might not be right for you. First Trina and her Ode to Weezy and now this.
You may feel sad, lonely, tire slasherish, but be real…the man is married. There is a certain level of respect you have to give and move around. How does she expect him to respond –“oh, I miss you too” “yeah, we did look good together” “we looked horrible and now I have this lady”
This is just one more reason for Tameka to walk around with stank on her face. Note to Chili – don’t go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the rivers and lakes that your used to. Stop looking for a man and let him find you, but loose the salty vibe.

When I heard about this on Friday on another blog I assumed it was a lie and I didn’t even comment. Now that I know that it’s real, I’m wondering if Chilly doesn’t have some immaturity issues herself. What she said was disrespectful to Tameka and Marlon’s wifey. She wants them now because they are settled down with life partners which she has not been blessed with yet. People are saying she didn’t want to talk about it before when I have heard her say plenty about how scandalous Usher was. If it is any consulation for her, she can rest assured that whatever crap Usher put her through Tameka is going through it as well.

How good a couple looks together has nothing to do with anything. That’s some kid mess. And who cares that Marlon had a mad crush on her when the were practically children almost 20 years ago. Get over it sis and be careful about how much you give up in future interviews. This was waaaaay too much.

Dont get me wrong I am a fan and maybe will always be. Also I do like his video and song but that should have been released like a year or so after confessions. He should have come harder for the first single given the time frame.

The reason I say he lost his swagger is because he never looks truely happy the smiles always look forced or the setting staged. Basically I dont think his hearts 100% into this project, thats the vibe I get from his body language. He took the focus away from the music and onto his personnal life in a major way. But I do wish him all the best.

Well. I haven’t completely gotten over my first true love and we haven’t been together since 2002. I have moved on but the sight of him still gives me goosebumps so I know what she is talking about. When you really love someone, you can’t just let them go. She is right. they were beautiful together and he really loved her. With Tomeka, they always just look like two dudes and he looks terrified of her. Obama already called her BITTER and she looks that way. I don’t know. Usher is more feminine than Tomeka. i remember seeing a picture an old one of usher and chilli when they were together along with the his now wife. Tameka’s hair was cut short and she had on a leather jacket. The chick was plotting for usher then! i need the find that pic and post it on my blog, however on my blogger i do have a picture of usher mother and his wife hugging, (a close up) and i think it was taken when she was pregnant. You would not think ms raymond did not like her the way they looked. it was a look of a happy grandmother to be and her daughter in law.

As someone else wrote…there is a big difference between ‘being in love’ and ‘loving someone.’ If you truly ever loved someone, even after you break up you will always have feelings for that person. It doesn’t mean you won’t fall in love again, but when you give your heart to someone a piece of it will always belong to that person.

Also, Chili wasn’t being disrespectful in her comments about her and Usher having chemistry. Folks should read the entire interview first before commenting.

Chili seems to have grown and matured and eventually will find the right person. Who knows maybe she and Marlon Wayans will get together again since she said he was the one who got away. Stranger things have been known to happen.
