Fan Mail: Canadians love Monica!

I actually like Monica. Shes one of the few stars that I’ve met that are beautiful in person(and not just in their pics). Another positive is the fact that she can actually sing, unlike some other praised celebreties on this site.

Its simple as this: a person’s run in the music industry doesn’t last forever. Her time as come and past. It’s time that she move to other ventures because right now, these young kids are tearing it up. When Monica came in, she helped to take the spotlight off of older singers and unfortunately, that cycle continues. She has options: she can either stay in the music industry and go behind the scenes (write, produce, develop artist) or she can keep dropping albums and get hit with reality like Janet Jackson, LOL.

I’t not self hate at all. I am sure many people that are from Atlanta have met or have been in the same capacity as Monica and can tell you how unpleasent she is. She is just like the rappers with their fake jewlery and money out here trying to live up the hype. I am over seeing Monica on this blog every day, over seeing how much her clothes cost, and over seeing what she has on. She can shop at Greenbriar for all I care. I mean is this a fan site for her because the more and more I look and see her name on this website, it convinces me that this is not worth even looking at because the things you post all come from somehwere else anyways.

BTW, the more you stay up in her a**, the more I am convinced that you have self hate. Take this from someone who knows, Artists are not who they seem to be. It’s not real!

I like Monica and all but it is simply not that serious. I don’t think anyone is hating on her but there is a bit of overexposure on the site. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.

I just wanted to say that I love Monica to death. I still
listen to Miss Thang which I first had the cassette. I just have to ask you is it “SELF-HATE” when you constantly
put down Bey, who by the way has sustained a huge career for what ever reason. Im a late Beyonce fan, didnt like her until she went solo but she has earned her place. I think Monica needs better marketing. The girl can sing that shouldnt even be up for disscusion, I just think your comments and putting her on a pedestal causes people to constantly compare her to Bey,RiRi, Ashanti, KC and anybody else who has music out consistently. BTW I dont think RiRi should even be mentioned among Monica, Bey, or KC for that matter. You often speak of artist w/ a lack of talent she is definetly one. She’s cute and probably a sweet person, but vocally she does NOTHING for me, just my opinion. Have a nice day all!
