The NY Daily News has a write up today about the ongoing Swizz Beatz and Mashonda divorce drama.
Mashonda – an aspiring singer – is planning to name Alicia Keys as “the other woman” in her divorce proceedings from the hawkish looking producer.
This is nothing more than a publicity stunt by Mashonda to garner more press for herself. Nobody cares about her or Swizz Beatz.
I mean, we already know the industry is rife with sluts, jumpoffs and trifling baby daddies. Why must we continue to dwell on these three?
A friend of Swizz said, “His relationship with Alicia began after their separation. He hasn’t kept it a secret. He still has great love for Mashonda and has promised to take care of her and their son and support her career.”
Alicia Keys is no different from any other jumpoff who wants what another woman has because she is unhappy with her own life. I tried to tell y’all Alicia Keys was not perfect, but you never listen to your auntie when I school you on these tricks.
Women like Alicia are a dime a dozen in this industry. In Hollywood, there is only six degrees of separation between who someone is sleeping with currently and who Alicia has bedded.
Last night, an industry executive talked me out of writing an expose’ about a certain female celebrity who prefers to date attached male celebrities. But I was reminded that even though this female celebrity makes a habit of hooking up with other women’s men – in the end, the men all dump their women and claim this female celeb as their girlfriend. So she’s doing something right.
Is Swizz Beatz claiming Alicia Keys as his woman? Is 50 Cent claiming Ciara as his girlfriend? As long as there are women who lack self pride, there will be fools like Swizz Beatz and 50 cent to take advantage of them.
