Legendary singer Janet Jackson, 42, was hospitalized in Montreal last night where she is being treated for exhaustion and dehydration, according to a source who asked to remain anonymous.
We knew that fast pace concert tour was too much for the aging diva:
Janet Jackson was forced to postpone Monday night’s Bell Centre concert in Montreal at the last minute after being rushed to a hospital “due to illness,” according to promoter Gillett Entertainment Group.“We’re not entirely sure [what happened],” said Michal Wielgus, a representative for Gillett, reached shortly before 8 p.m. “We don’t have all the details. We just found out 20 minutes ago.”
Some fans were already in the venue when the news was announced. “That’s never happened before in Bell Centre history,” Wielgus said. (Source)

i hope she gets better soon . why is is so hard for people to believe that she might actually be sick? i doubt ticket sells have anything to do with her condition . from what i have heard she’s doing pretty good in that department.

Ok. Why they have to act like she’s extremely elderly? Wasn’t there are recent ‘report’ that JD threw up on her lap? Maybe there’s a virus going around. I mean, the cold/flu season is on it’s way; and all that touring, traveling, performing is exhausting for anyone - makes you more prone to ‘coming down with something’.
They wouldn’t push the ‘too old’ thing if this were Cher or Tina Turner getting sick on tour.
She ain’t sick. Nobody goes to the hospital for exhaustion and dehydration. I fwe walked into the emergency room with that sh!t, they’ll laught at us and send our ass to bed. TRUST, she ain’t sick. . .

yea, I heard her concerts were sold out, anyway I hope she gets better, I can’t imagine the stress and exhaution that comes along with a tour. They have to do a lot for that money.
I guess you have the inside info again because you are the first site that I have heard exhaustion and dehydration from. CNN, the first source I heard it from, didn’t even know what her illness was. I guess Miss Sandra just knows more than them.

She actually canceled her concer here in Detroit last weekend. They rescheduled it for late October with no explanation and it was sold out!
I think she’s probably in pretty good shape and will probably recouperate just fine! She hasnt toured in a while, and dehydration and exhaustion seem to happen to alot of artists remember, Kelly Rowland, Beyone, Mariah, Aretha, Micheal Jackson..and those are just the ones I remember!!

You took the words right out of my mouth. Janet is no kinda old. Madonna is nearly 10 years older and her shows are just as energetic as Janet. Miss Tina was shaking her groove thang well into her 60’s and is planning to tour again. There are really too many acts to name that are still touring after several decades in the business and they are still bringing it.

The people who are their age won’t be saying their old, but the people that are young when they are older will be saying it. I don’t see Ciara having that kind of longevity though, but Miss B is the next Tina Turner minus the butt whoopins.
This is a stunt…my Mom is over 50 years old and she speed walks every other day 3 miles (No joke, I can’t keep up with her and I am in my 20’s).
Janet has the best health care that money can buy and I know she eats right. My Momma eats all kinds of Fatty Southern food and she doesn’t get exhaustion.

All i have to say is that people need to stop posting these negative comment about Miss Jackson. First of all her tour has been selling out and if you dumb ass people would get your facts straight you would know that Miss Jackson requested to be released from her contract due to lack of promotion by the record label. The label granted her wishes. So people need to stop with these false statements. The new females like Beyonce, Ciara, Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole, and even Mary J Blige will never sell over 100 million records like the Grand Diva Miss Jackson. This woman has over 10 #1 pop hits and over 16 #1 R&B hits. You do the math.
