Nervous about what?Obama does not to s*** in his draws for these fools!

I'm pretty sure they rehearsing right now.

  • http://sandrarose.com Sandra Rose

    @ HunE:

One thing is for sure. Tonight's debate is going to be an uh-uh-uh-uh fest! The last time I counted Obama uttered 24 uh's in less than a minute. :)

  • keely107

Honestly I'd rather the uh-uh's versus just speaking and not addressing the question that was presented or making up some generic answer "Bush's wordly views" LMAO.

  • http://myspace.com/hune916 HunE916

People who actually THINK on the spot say “uh” a lot.

Betcha Sarah Palin ain’t said ‘uh’ once! With all that canned spam she be talking.
Hmmm…I wonder what kind of ancient Chinese torture techniques they have to use on her to get her to memorize those answers she gives WHEN she does interviews.

  • Lala11_7

    I can assure you...

After the old white man tried to FRONT on Obama this week...Obama will be LIVID...

So, Obama dosen't have to worry about McCain...see, if you study McCain's history...personal and professional...

McCain's biggest enemy has always been...

McCAIN!!! This week proved that once again....

All Obama has to do is sit back in the cut...and do him...

    uh, uh,uh,uh okay

  • The Divine Ms. K

Sandra, you are just ridiculous with your love of McSame and Caribou Barbie.

I'm just glad he took the time out from solving the nation's financial crisis - despite his own admission he is weak on the economy and does not serve on any Senate finance committees - to grace us with his presence tonight.

I know why I believe in Obama - why do YOU believe in McCain? Is it truly a political preference or playing devil's advocate for blog purposes?

  • PAHairston

Over the centuries, white Americans have pretty much tried to blame the black man for every ailment and crisis that America has faced. But they can't blame this financial crisis on us. Lehman Brothers, Goldman-Sachs--hell, need I say more? Peace.

  • candycane

His azz is nervous as hell, he tried to run that ish about being involved in the meetings. I just this man on the news this morning I forgot his full name, but somebody Reed. He said McCain has done nothing but stand in front of cameras talking about what he was going to do, and gave NO useful input AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • http://myspace.com/thegameoncw Bird

I can't wait to see it. I haven't listened to McCain speak much so this will be a chance for me to see what he is talking about.

  • keely107

    He hasn't spoken much. LOL.

  • terika83

Sandra I'd rather have him say "uh" and follow up with details on what he plans to do for this country then spit out bull shit without thinking first.

McCain last week: This country is fine...we are not in a recession.

McCain this week: We need to come together and fix this issue.

McCain one month in Canada and Europe speaking...

McCain a few months later stating that Obama should grab America before speaking outside of the country...

Alzheimers anyone? Or does he just think that we all are stupid? Mr. "I don't know how many houses I have"...I'm sure McCain could use a few Uh's Sandra...

  • terika83

He shouldn't be nervous at all? McCain hardly covered what he would do for this country during the RNC...I can't WAIT to watch this debate!

  • daninicole

When we assume we make a$$es out of ourselves. So let McCain and company keep assuming and keep boasting and bragging and Obama and company is gonna put it on them!

    OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    BTW Sandra,
I have read that you cannot vote in this country. (True or not, doesn't matter to me), but if you could vote or if you are gonna vote, two questions, Who would you vote for are you happy with the current administration?

  • starr

People who say uh uh are thinking.....sarah does't say uh uh uh, cuz she don't think....memeber...she don't blink, hence she doesn't think.....we don[t need dat

  • Mississippi16

When Sandra feel like an outsider... it shows! I think if there was an opportunity for a strong black family to run the UK she'd be more supportive - AND WE WOULD NOT HEAR THE END OF IT!

However Auntie, you been in the states longer than some of your readers have been living and it seems like you would have a stronger feeling of belonging than you do.

  • DMNB

WHY should an intelligent man like Obama be nervous. He has nothing to worry about.

  • http://myspace.com/lorettadivine DivineBrown

She prolly aint even gonna watch! Damn Shame!

  • http://myspace.com/lorettadivine DivineBrown

Old "decrapit" A$$ (as Mimi08 would say) does not even look fit enough to handle the stress of running this country. DAMN...HOW OLD IS HE?

Can someone please do this for me... Please explain what you feel Obama can do to change our country. What exactly makes him a better candidate. I hear all these people hollering for this side or that side, but I want someone to explain exactly how they think their candidate is going to make a change. I cant knock anyone either way... I just want to know why..... Convince me to vote for him.

  • http://myspace.com/lorettadivine DivineBrown

I don't feel like anyone should have to convince you to vote. It's your privledge to choose who YOU want to vote for. If you have been watching while each man campaigns and you still haven't come to the conclusion, you probably won't. At this point, voters are just "waiting" to vote.

Do your own research....and figure it out yourself. While your research, look into the background of each candidate.

The following list shows votes by John McCain on the most important bills, nominations and resolutions that have come before Congress. The list is based on an analysis of the potential impact of the legislation on policy and politics. Post editors have compiled these key votes from the 109th Congress onward.

I look for what impacts my life the most. and thats who I roll with!

It will be a change to see a brotha in the White House. There is no way he can mess it up any worse than it already his. He has ppl. He knows what it is like to be middle class and under class. He is someone much more easily relateable. Our last few presidents if they were not born with money they sure have it now and forgot what it means to struggle. Obama wants equality. He wants affordable housing and college tuition. etc...

if you are happy with the way the country is being run, then vote republican.
if you happy with the state of the economy, the price of gas, the 10,000 people who's home is being foreclosed on today, the 80 thousand jobs lot in one month, then vote republican. if you think mccain who has been in office for 26 yr and didnt complain once while the country was going to hell will all of sudden change the way you do bidness, then i got some pacific beach front property to sell you in the mountains of va. i tell you the black republicans are a mess. they were the ones who didnt want to leave the plantation.

  • Mississippi16

    @ HouStar
We are voting for CHANGE. CHANGE. CHANGE.

Barack isn't going to be anyone's savior. But we know that people are tired of the SOS - Same Old S&^t.

McCain got into Military Academy because his military dad pulled strings for him.

He was sent away on Special Assignments because his daddy's friends pulled strings for him (when he became POW).

He got into the Senate because his wife's family had $$ and a great amount of influence.

This is all public information that I've heard him say in interviews with his own mouth.

If McCaint get elected, don't you think that same system of "using your influence to keep the people around you happy" is going to continue?

When these things are at play, people aren't as worried about the school systems, the environment, healthcare. Your main concern is keeping your rich friends and family happy. You're not as concerned about unemployment when everybody that you know all have good jobs, go to good schools, and have good doctors! McCain record shows that he has NEVER looked out for anybody but McCain.

How can he lead you if he won't even acknowledge you?

  • Mississippi16

@ Sandra... Where did I say I’m not happy being in America?

I didn't say that you aren't happy here. It seems like you don't have a sense of belonging.

It's admirable and encouraging to see a black (bi-racial) kid who came from a teenage single parent become a Black Man who is smart, strong, educated, and passionately want people's lives to be better and to see people treated more fairly.

I don't see how you can't support that.

  • Sharonda

I can't seem to think why people vote for McCain?I want someone to enlighten me why should I vote for McCain :? As much as I read on both of them, McCain doesn't impress me one bit.He doesn't relate to me.All I can see him doing is adopting bits of policies during of previous administrations and the same thing will keep happening, ignorant people will continue to put the same type of hags in the WH.

Okay, Im confuse Auntie Sandra are you a Republican ?

I had to count to 10 before I wrote anything. Now that I reached 10, let me pass this on to those who are stuck on STUPID!

I have been on plenty of blogs and thousands of boards. There are quite a few people that may not like my opinions, but I could care less.

I am voting for Senator Obama because he is a MAN, that has CHARACTER and MORAL's and INTEGRITY! He is the person who will be a STRONG LEADER! He and his FAMILY will be a very worthy ASSET to our country.

No, one person can't fix this country, but one person can bring us all together and work along with us to get back on track and start doing instead of just mouthing off and playing the blame game. By the way, a lot wrong with this country is what we did out of greed to make it this way. We let people from other countries take jobs and turn around and send us inferior products that is killing and harming us. We got lazy and relaxed in our cozy life style. We didn't take time to read or keep up with Wall Street and their dirty deeds. We held nobody accountable. We let them take God out of school and let them tell us not to disciple our own children. We let anybody into our country and gave them jobs and freedom of press. We paid people to disrespect this country, and only laugh about it. We let anybody on television to corrupt our children. We let music be a tool in many cases to teach some of our children, disrespect and to believe that you don't need a education. I could go on, but I don't need too.

Senator Obama, stand for the things that my family raised me on.

John Mc Cain is the kind of person that turns me off. A cheater and flip flopper. Sarah Palin is a big joke. I don't need to even talk about her, because every time she open her mouth, you can tell that she has no character. But what piss me off more, is the fact that this moose eating bimbo was wearing $600.00 glasses and Jimmy Choo's at the Republican Convention, letting her so called special need child be passed around like a sack of potato's, and her little girl was licking her hands and wiping his hair down, while he had no shoes and socks on. The so called Hottest Governor, from the Coldest state, didn't have sense enough to dress her child when the world was watching.

And all of you Michael Vicks' haters, did you know that this White Governor who is a card carrying member of the NRA, kills wolfs and animals for fun?

I watched the debates. Both of them were tepid at best.

McCain came across as extremely rehearsed, and all he was intent on making Obama look as though he was inexperienced vs. actually answering the question posed. Was he successful in this? Sometimes, but most times not really. McCain's body language showed that he clearly doesn't like Obama on a personal level, not very diplomatic, personally I think a president should be able to control himself a little bit more.

Obama, again, wasn't playing the same game as McCain and personally I need him to show a little more tenacity. He answered the questions directly and I can appreciate that; however he either didn't think fast enough on his feet or he doesn't know to, tie McCain in with the economic mess we're in now. McCain is part of the reason the economy is in such a mess, for being such a "maverick" as he claims he is, he signed off on the economic policies of the Bush administration.

Again, Sarah Palin is being sequestered from the press. She wasn't available for any post debate press interviews, which is the norm. Why won't they let her talk? Afraid something will show? I know we're not voting for VP, but McCain is as old as dirt, all he needs is one bad cold and he might not make it through 4 years, so in essence this woman could potentially be our next president.

Biden and Sarah better have a better showing come thursday. I only wonder what PR stunt the GOP will pull before them.

  • djeclazz

well, according to yahoo.com they gave Obama a "A-". http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/gradingthefirstpresidentialdebate

  • djeclazz

Sandra post something postive about Obama sometimes!!!! Cause i'm really beginning to think this is a republican website or KKK sponsored website!!!! Once again Obama A- find the story on yahoo.com http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/gradingthefirstpresidentialdebate

  • http://myspace.com/thegameoncw Bird

The debate was fabulous. Both candidates did better than I expected. My views have not changed. I still feel that McCain is stronger on military issues including the war in Iraq, but absolutely nothing else. Maybe Barack can give him the Secretary of Defense gig when he gets into office.

To my complete and utter shock Barack didn't utter one "uh" all night. He must have been working very hard on getting rid of that very distracting habit.

  • Sharonda

Obama shut it down hands down while McCain was dancing around the truth.LOL, he must thought Obama is stupid just like what many expect Obama is, but that man smarter than you think!
