The motive isn't made clear during the video, but a loyal reader who emailed this to me said the victim of the attack made inappropriate advances to the little boy on the train. The boy's father then beat the man with a hammer and dragged him off the train.

The victim, a 20-year-old college student, reported the incident to police after he got home.

Former video model-turned-reality show contestant-turned entrepreneur, Deelishis, and her fiance, businessman Orlando Gordon, jumped the broom recently, according to S2S magazine.

I'm not even going to express my thoughts on G's sweet nature. Obviously Dee is secure in her confidence that she's got herself a real man there.

Let's hope there are no surprises in store for her later on down the road.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Here's more proof that singer Trey Songz is not gay: according to Internet reports, the R&B heart throb is set to wed his Ethiopian girlfriend, Helen.

According to Miss Mwabi, Helen is one of Chris Brown's dancers. Trey seems to have a thing for the exotic beauties from Ethiopia like video model Lola Luv, whom he once dated.

In a recent interview with Sister2sister magazine's Jamie Foster Brown, Trey explained how he met Helen when she toured with Omarion:

Well, I’ll say he introduced us. From there, we went on that first tour together. I was on the Holiday Jam Scream Tour. She was on it too. We ain’t never really get a chance to kick it. She’d see me and she’d just kind of brush me off, but I’d be trying to holler at her. She’d see me with all different kinds of chicks and she wasn’t really feeling that.

Take notes, groupies.

When Sen. Barack Obama planted a long wet kiss on the lips of the wife of his running mate during the Democratic National Convention, I was shocked.

I quickly did a Google search and I was relieved to see that I wasn't the only one who was unsettled by the kiss.

When I was a young girl growing up in London, England, etiquette class was a standard part of our school's curriculum. It was sort of like a Finishing school where girls were taught to address boys in the proper manner.

Much giggling and silliness ensued because we were little kids. But at least we knew what was proper and what was expected of us.

I would expect that as adults we should also know what is proper and expected of us in mixed company because not everyone is tolerant of the ways of the new social attitudes.

In my opinion, a man should never kiss another man's wife on the lips in a professional setting unless they're family or swingers.

For Republican presidential candidate John McCain, the rule is simple: Hug your running mate, kiss your wife. It really isn't rocket science.

Either bleaching a baby's skin is the new Hollywood trend now, or something is wrong with my eyes.

I can accept the fact that the baby Gabe Autry is carrying is his and Halle's baby girl Nahla.

But clearly their baby has undergone a drastic transformation that is wholly evident in the photos above.

The first time I saw the photos of Nahla on Jared's blog, it was evident that Nahla was a shade darker than her mama. Now we're supposed to believe that Nahla is 2 shades lighter than Halle without any chemical manipulation whatsoever?

I think Halle is a very beautiful woman, and she seems fairly intelligent. But this is a new low even for Hollywood. She even threatened to sue the paparazzi agency that leaked photos of her dark skin baby.

Clearly, Halle wanted a light skin baby at all costs and she kept that baby out of the public eye until she achieved her goal.

Some things should remain sacred.

You've heard the old saying that no one worries about polls unless there's something in it for them?

Well, Barack Obama's camp seems very worried now that the momentum has swung in John McCain's direction due to a favorable bump in polls following the Republican convention:

“There’s a lot of hyperventilating about national polls,” [Obama campaign manager, David] Plouffe said, which wasn’t a surprise since both a CBS News poll and the Gallup daily tracking poll showed McCain taking the lead nationally in the presidential race. “When you look at battleground states, we feel very good about where we are.”

But Obama might not feel the same way. In an interview with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, Obama looked nervous, hesitant and unsure of himself. He uttered the guttural sound "uh" repeatedly, which is annoying and distracting (I counted 24 'uh's in less than a minute).

Maybe Obama should let Michelle do his interviews since she seems more sure of herself. If only Michelle were born a man, she would be our first black president.

Republicans and the right-wing media are raving about Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, but Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice doesn't seem to share their enthusiasm.

In a weekend interview with CNN, Rice stopped just short of fully endorsing Palin for vice president.

In a less-than-hearty endorsement, Rice declined to say anything more positive about Palin than "she gave a terrific speech" and "she's a governor of a state here in the United States" during her interview with Zain Verjee of CNN.

Asked point-blank if Palin has enough experience, Rice said, "These are decisions that Senator McCain has made. I have great confidence in him." Confidence in Palin? Rice didn't say.

Rice added: "I'm not going to get involved in this political campaign. As Secretary of State, I don't do that. But I thought her speech was wonderful." (Source)

Rihanna's trendy hair cut has influenced top tier stars in Hollywood from Katie Holmes to Victoria Beckham who showed up at the Marc Jacobs show last night in NYC sporting her new Rihanna-inspired do!

Not everyone can pull off this stunning look, but Posh does it with ease ans style! Rihanna's hair styles this year has ranged from short pixie cut to trendy asymmetrical bob and back again. The girl is so flawless, everyone in Hollywood wants to be her!

If you must hate her, I totally understand! :)

Sean "Puffy" Combs has proven once again that he is a hot bag of wind who will say anything for attention.

Recently, Sean uploaded a video to his YouTube account complaining about the muthafuck*n gas prices as he waited to board a commercial airliner to L.A. where he can keep a close eye on baby mama and ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter.

"As you know, I do own my own jet," he lied. "Now, if I’m flying back and forth like twice in a month, that’s like $200,000 or $250,000 a round trip. (Expletive deleted) I’m back on American Airlines."

But the Palm Peach Post did a little digging, and come to find out, the liar doesn't even own a jet.

A thorough review of federal records shows that no plane in this country is registered to a Sean Combs or any of the trend-setter’s numerous companies, including clothier Sean John and his music company, Bad Boy Entertainment.

One private aviation source scoffed: "It’s my jet this, my jet that, he’s just pretending. I have list of every plane with the name of the owner, and he’s not on it."

It turns out, Combs owns a "fraction" of a jet which is akin to claiming you own a condo in Palm Beach when in fact you own a timeshare and it's only yours for a week out of the year.

I had a chat with Keyshia Cole earlier this year, and I guess enough time has passed for me to say that KeyCo was not playing when she said she was done with J-Breezy and she wished him well.

I don't know what he did to make her so mad (at the time), but Keyshia said in no uncertain terms that their relationship was over.

The crazy thing is only two weeks prior to that phone call, I spoke with both Keyshia AND Jeezy and at the time, she professed her undying love for the Snowman (click here to read about that).

Apparently, young ladies today can turn their love lives on and off like tap water.

During a robbery attempt, a thug slashes his victim across the face with a razor and tries to flee the scene. But neighborhood residents take the law into their own hands by disarming the crook with an old fashioned azz whooping.

It's about time citizens took the streets back from these thugs.

50 Cent was all smiles as he left the Suffolk County Courthouse yesterday afternoon (9/8). Judge David Freundlich ruled that 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, can see his son on alternating weekends.

Fiddy won the battle with his baby mama, Shaniqua Tompkins, over the rights to visit their son Marquise. But Tompkins was not as pleased with the judge's decision. She told the press; "My son doesn't want every other weekend."

The judge also granted Tompkins an order of protection after Tompkins claimed the rapper tried to kill her and her son when the home they were staying in mysteriously went up in flames.

Because the protection order forbids Jackson from coming near her, Tompkins will drop off their 11 year-old son Marquise every other Friday night at a police precinct in Queens, where Jackson's mom or driver will pick him up.

The feuding exes are due back in court on October 22, 2008. As for 50 Cent, when asked what's his future plans are, he told the press, "I'm gonna go hang out with some ho's, write some music, make some movies, continue to kick it." (Source)

Ciara is a ho now?

Photos: Splash News Online

The saddest part of this month's VIBE magazine cover story featuring Ciara isn't the stark photos of Ciara posing in the nude. It's the reason behind the photos: Ciara wanted to prove she wasn't a man.

Ciara's sudden rise to the top of the R&B charts coupled with her lean, athletic build, fueled rampant Internet rumors that she was a male transvestite.

A source close to Ciara told me the vicious rumors made Ciara cry.

"They said I was a man! It doesn't get any worse than that," said Ciara in the October issue of VIBE where she bares it all for the second time in her career - the first time was on the cover of 50 Cent's CD which she claimed was not her.

Senegalese-American Hip Hop singer Akon struck back at reports that he attacked two female fans during a concert in Guyana last month.

Akon's management released a new video shot from a different angle than the one widely circulating the internet that appears to show Akon throwing an elbow at one female fan while shoving another fan off a stage.

A representative from the promoter said, "We are shocked to hear that there is a video clip circulating that suggests Akon treated a fan badly during his August 30th performance in Guyana. There were no incident reports stemming from the event. Despite a late start, the concert was a tremendous success and we hope that Akon will come back soon." (Source)

Michelle Obama danced on Ellen today. She did her thing taking it back to the old school with the Cabbage Patch and the donkey kong. Okay, I'm kidding, but she did put it down better than Barack did when he was on Ellen recently.

I noticed Michelle didn't congratulate Ellen on her wedding. That says a lot.

Atlanta rapper (and friend to Young Jeezy will have the #1 album in the country next week with his third studio album, "Recession".

Jeezy knocked all other competitors out the box with impressive one-day sales of 250k. Jeezy recently put his money where his mouth is by shelling out thousands for back-to-school supplies for Atlanta area kids.

And last week Jeezy registered to vote for the first time, and put on for his city by holding a voter registration drive in Atlanta. According to estimates, there are over 8 million young blacks in the US who are still not registered to vote.

Following her successful debut at the RNC last week, Republican vp candidate Sarah Palin is a hot commodity. The Alaska governor has not one, but two action figures made in her likeness.

The gun-toting, underwear-flashing action doll is expected to be the hottest selling item this Christmas if Palin and McCain win the election in November.

'Sarah Palin The Super Hero' - which features the 44-year-old Alaska governor in her lingerie packing a .45 caliber gun on her hip - retails at $29.95 USD. 'Sarah Palin The Executive', which features the ex-beauty queen in her business suit, is on sale from today (MON) in the US for $27.95 USD.

The 12-inch-tall dolls, from toymaker Herobuilders, follow Barack Obama and John McCain action figures.

I've ordered my Obama and Palin dolls already. I'm sure these dolls will be worth a few stacks later on down the road. Now all I need is the Michelle Obama action figure to complete my collection. :)

Singer Beyonce is relieved that she no longer has to play cat & mouse games with the paps by hiding her fake diamond ring. The Alarming diva can proudly flash the real thing now that jeweler finally delivered it.

Bey, who married her longtime BFF Jay Z in April, flashed her $5 million dollar stone on the red carpet at Fashion Rocks last week.

As you know, Jay Z already took delivery of his ring which is a smaller stone. But friends say that Beyonce - ever the diva - was not happy with the size and cut of her rock and kept sending it back to the jeweler.

I don't know if that's all true but that's what I'm hearing. Tiny didn't have any complaints when T.I. presented her with a $6 million dollar emerald cut diamond ring recently.

As you know, most of these celebs have duplicate copies made of their stones and the original is kept in a bank safety deposit box. Except for rappers like Yung Berg and Juelz Santana who are notorious for wearing fake sh*t anyway.

Actress Halle Berry found her sperm donor Gabe Autry somewhere and dragged him out to Calvin Klein's 40th Anniversary party in NYC last night. Never has a Hollywood couple looked so uncomfortable to be seen out with each other.

Maybe Gabe's still pissed that Halle tried to pull a fast one on the paps by posing with that Caucasian baby the other day.

Rihanna and her BFF Chris Brown were spotted at JFK airport on their way to the VMAs in Los Angeles over the weekend. I can't get over how dopey Chris "Urkel" Brown looks. He is the only thing keeping Rihanna from achieving worldwide success.

Hopefully, one day Rihanna will come to her senses and drop that geek.

But aside from that, don't you love Rihanna's casual style combined with that hawt Louis Vuitton tote?

Kanika Powell did everything she was supposed to do after she became the victim of a stalking.

But it was her reluctance to discuss her high security job that may have cost her her life.

The circumstances surrounding the death of the vibrant 28-year-old who was gunned down execution-style near her home, leaves many questions unanswered.

According to an article on the Washington Post website, Powell worked as a security specialist for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Prince George's County, MD.

Not much else is known about Powell's duties at the lab where scientists work on more than 400 homeland security and other research projects.

Since Powell's job involved homeland security, the Army veteran couldn't tell her family what her job entailed or where she went when she left town on work-related trips.

So on August 23, when a strange man showed up at her door flashing a badge and asking for her by name, she had more than enough reason to be worried.

Through the locked door, the man told Powell he was an FBI agent and needed to talk to her about a bank fraud investigation. Powell asked for photo identification but the man walked away without showing his ID.

Police arrived 4 minutes after Powell called them. And though they scoured Powell's apartment complex, they couldn't locate the man fitting the description that Powell gave them.

Two days later, Powell sat down and composed an email to friends detailing the stranger's visit. 'I asked who he was and all he stated was that he was from the FBI and that he was looking for Kanika Powell. It freaked me out completely because this man knew my name.'

Toward the end of the email, Powell wrote, '…not only did I get NO sleep for the rest of my weekend, I am trying to get an alarm system installed in my apartment.'

Powell signed her e-mail to friends and colleagues as "Kanika T. Powell, Special Security, 13-S448 JHU/APL."

The alarm was installed in her apartment, but four days after the first incident, a different man showed up at Powell's door posing as a deliveryman. Again, Powell refused to open her door. The next day, Thursday, a third man knocked on Powell's door claiming to have a package for her, but when she didn't open her door, he left without leaving the package or a claim slip.

Five hours later, upon returning home from running errands, Powell was ambushed outside her door by a gunman who opened fire with an automatic weapon. Powell was found lying in a stairwell after neighbors called police to report sounds of gunshots and a woman screaming.

She was rushed to a hospital and straight into surgery where doctors tried to repair the damage caused by multiple gunshots to her upper torso. But Powell died the next day, on August 29, while in intensive care.

Prince George's County police are baffled by the strange case. They are asking anyone with information to call the county's Crime Solvers hotline at 866-411-TIPS (8477). The family is offering a $25,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the killer or killers.

Michael Buckley, a spokesman for the Hopkins laboratories in Laurel, dismissed any notion that Powell's death was work-related. He declined to name the lab where Powell worked, or her job title, citing "the nature of the work."

Powell's mother, Judy Forrest, said her daughter wouldn't discuss her work with her. Powell would occasionally leave town for a couple of days to pick up things for the lab, she said. "I would ask her where she was going, and she would say, 'Mom, you know I can't tell you that.' "

I'm glad I missed the VMAs this year. I couldn't listen past the 46 sec. mark of this horrid video. Kanye's straining pipes gave me a headache. What happened to him? He used to be so talented. Now he can't carry Usher's water bottle in the studio.

I am not looking forward to Kanye West's new CD due out around the same time in December that the other wack rapper, Jay Z's coaster is due to flop, er, I mean drop.

T.I.'s boo Tiny accompanied him to this year's MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. They both looked sharp in contrasting outifts. T.I. wore a red velvet blazer with jeans, while Tiny looked like she was ready for anything in her black sequinned halter top gown and matching clutch.

Go on, girl! Flash that rock one time for the ladies so they know what time it is!

Isn't it sweet how T.I. pays homage to his sweetie in every rap he spits? Is that true love or what? I'm told that Tiny sits in on every recording session at the studio so the inspiration for T.I.'s raps is always close to his heart.

Was I the only one who didn't know the VMAs was this weekend?

Photos: Wireimage/Getty

Due to my recent move to a new place, I have neither cable tv nor Internet. :( Luckily I have a working phone no thanks to Bellsouth/ATT. Anyway, I heard that T.I. and Rihanna rocked it at the VMAs. So I couldn't wait for or to put the videos up!

Now that I've seen the performances for myself, I am convinced! We already know T.I. is the King, but Rihanna is the undisputed Queen!

Beyonce, Ashanti, et al, better hold on to your wigs 'cause Rihanna is coming to collect 'em!

I loved the blond highlights in Rihanna's hair and, of course, her styling was impeccable! Rihanna looked so H-A-W-T in those boots with the 5-inch heels. I was a little worried that RiRi would lose her balance and do a Beyonce, face first down the steps. But my girl is too cool to slip and fall on national TV. :)

As Fresh of Crunk & Disorderly would say: this side eye from T.I. is very necessary, lol. First off, I'm not posting this photo to make fun of the kid. I think the kid is a cutie. I'm just trippin' over what he has on.

Apparently this style of dress is some new fad the kids are into. So parents: be prepared to spend extra dough on t-shirts for your kids to destroy by cutting the sleeves off and slitting the tee down the sides - all in the name of fashion.

The kid, whom loyal reader Divine Lavender refers to as "Snoop in a green frock," attends a radical school in Chicago where the emphasis is placed on educating black children at all costs as evidenced by the school's simple but powerful slogan: "Educate or Die".

There's a long back story to this photo which was sent to me by Divine Lavender. But if I repeat the back story, Divine Lavender might get disowned by her family.

According to Divine Lavender, T.I. was convinced to speak at the school by the teacher in the video posted below.

Let's suffice it to say that the lead teacher is a 70s Symbionese Liberation Army-type dude who screamed "EDUCATE OR DIE!" all during T.I.'s speech to the kiddies two weeks ago.

I'm told that while at the school, T.I. didn't have the security that he "wanted and needed". Nor did he get his required proof of community service letter from the school officials after he spoke to the kiddies.

I'm all for radical ideas that will help raise our children's abysmal nationwide test scores. But I don't know if I would like my Leroy attending a school where the overall message is to get good grades or die. :?

So I was over on the right wing blog Huffington Post, when I spotted this headline, "Obama Camp Turns to Clinton to Counter Palin." I laughed out loud before I even read the accompanying article.

Since Republican presumptive VP Sarah Palin hit one out of the park at the Republican convention last week, the timing of this "rescue mission" could not be more perfect. Suddenly, Palin is a media superstar overnight and Obama is forced to recognize! And now John McCain isn't looking so dumb after all.

But is the Obama camp really that clueless to believe they can count on Hillary Clinton during their desperate time of need? Or did Obama overestimate Palin the same way he has overestimated the black community so far?

Didn't I say Hills would do a disappearing act once it became clear she was not Barack Obama's choice for VP? I'm sure she's somewhere laughing her ass off right now.

Peep this excerpt from the Huffington Post article:

Advisers to Mrs. Clinton said that she stood ready to help the Obama-Biden ticket, but they urged the campaign not to overestimate the impact Mrs. Clinton could have, noting that she had other commitments this fall, like campaigning and raising money for Senate candidates.

LOL! I guess Senate candidates are more important than helping Obama secure the presidency. :)

I saw this video on other sites but I never watched it because I wasn't interested in seeing a man slap a woman. I don't get my kicks by watching men act like bitches.

But out of curiosity I decided to watch the video when a loyal reader sent it to me today. What interested me about this video was what happened after the Indian guy slapped the female:

He got his ass kicked by real men and started crying like bitches do.

That wouldn't have happened here in America. Especially in the black community where boys are raised by black women who don't respect themselves or other women. So when a black man slaps a female, other black men just stand around and gawk or urge the man on... 'cause that's how they were raised.

There was a time when men were raised to believe they were the protectors of females. But those days are long gone - at least in our community.

Thank God there are still a few of us left who hold onto the values instilled in us by our parents. I raised my nephew to be a man, not a bitch. So when he was a shorty and a girl slapped him in school. He came home and proudly announced that he didn't hit her back.

He's 27 now and to this day when we talk about the arguments he has with his baby mama, he informs me that he never hits her because he's a man and he knows he is stronger than she is.

My nephew knows that hitting females doesn't make him a man. Knowing that he's a man is what separates him from these knuckleheads running around here calling themselves men. Just imagine how young black females would begin to respect themselves if we taught our black boys to respect them.

Thanks to loyal reader Danyel for the vid link!

Some people seem to think talk Fox News antagonist Bill O'Reilly attacked presidential hopeful Barack Obama during their sit down talk last night. But I don't see it that way. The liberal media has so far handled Barack Obama with kid gloves to the point where we don't fully know where Obama stands on the real issues.

Yes, it's smart to be cautious but now we're getting close to the elections and we still don't know who Obama is. O'Reilly simply took the kid gloves off and asked Obama the tough questions.

At least the Senator handled himself very well. I found it interesting that Obama said, "I will not take the military option off the table."

Was that a bone thrown to the conservatives who want the "oil war" to continue?
