Celebs Out & About: Usher Leaving Rio
Singer Usher was spotted strolling through Rio’s airport on his way back to the United States. Usher was leaving Brazil after visiting wife Tameka who was in a Rio hospital recovering from a heart attack following a botched liposuction procedure.
Usher refused to answer questions from the paps, but we hear Tameka is doing as well as can be expected.
I’m told Usher didn’t accompany his wife to Brazil last week because he doesn’t exactly approve of plastic surgery. Friends say Usher loves Tameka just the way she is and thinks she’s beautiful. But everyone who knows Tameka knows how obsessed she is with her looks.
And, no it isn’t because of what bloggers or the public thinks. That’s just the way Tameka is.

Celebs Out & About: Ja Rule Having Fun in Rio
Remember Ja Rule, the rapper who once ruled the charts back when Hip Hop was still relevant? Well, he’s still doing his thing picking up a little change here and there when he can. Last night, paps caught up with Ja Rule making friends with a busty female dancer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At least we hope she’s a female for Ja Ru;e’s sake. After all, Rio is the sex change capital of the world — and that dancer does look a little strong in the face. “Her” name is Mulher Melao, which I guess can go either way.

Stock Market Tumbled 2,000 Points Since Obama Was Elected
Stocks tumbled another 260 points by lunchtime today bringing the Dow Jones Industrials closer to its bear market low of 7449 that was hit on Nov. 21 after Barack Obama was elected president.
Since Nov. 4, 2008, the DJIA has tumbled more than 2,000 points.
Tomorrow, Obama is expected to announce a plan that will force lenders to lower payments for homeowners who fell behind on their mortgage loans and are at risk of foreclosure.
According to the NY Times, “the plan, to be announced Wednesday, is expected to include government subsidies for reducing a borrower’s interest rate, which a lender would have to match with its own money.”
How can lenders match the rates with money they claim they don’t have?
Guess who’s going to end up paying for all those bad mortgages in the long run?
Obviously Obama thinks that those of you who are hard workers and pay your bills on time won’t mind footing the bill for the ones who purchased homes they knew they couldn’t afford.
This is called redistribution of wealth. Well, you said you wanted Change. 
FanMAIL: All-Star Weekend Was a Bust
All I keep hearing from my spies who attended All-Star weekend in Phoenix was that attendance was low and it was an all around bust.
But everyone agreed that Amar’e Stoudemire and Grand Hustle’s events were on and poppin’.

All Star weekend was a BUST!!!! We went to a few parties. I saw ________. I hadn’t had a chance to email her but Nicole Garner made sure my friend and I were on the list for all of the Grand Hustle events.
The party that we missed was the one that was going down, from what I heard. It was the private breakfast party at a mansion Amar’e had rented. I heard on Saturday night, there were over 3500 people in attendance. They had strippers in every room and this is where the party was at!!!!
We went to another private mansion party thrown by this guy name Mr Rikk out of LA. IT was hosted by Kenny Burns and BallerAlert.com. This party was very nice. AJ from Access Hollywood was there. He stared me down so hard it damn near touched my soul!!!! LOL!!! A few z-list actors were in the building. DJ Clue, Lamar Odom (no Taraji in sight and it didn’t look like he cared!!!), Larry Hughes, and some other folks.
I went to a strip club Sunday night. Fabolous and his crew came through and made it HURRICANE!!!! The W hotel is where it was going DOWN!!!!! By the time we got there, the party was over. Everything shuts down here at 2:30ish.
All in all I had a nice, relaxing vacation!!!

Desiree Rogers Is Ready For Her Close Up
As you know the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicked into full gear this week in New York. The biggest celebs have been spotted in the front row at invite-only shows.
But the buzz of Fashion Week yesterday was reserved for the spectacle of Vogue‘s editor-for-life Anna Wintour sitting with her special guest, White House Social Calendar Planner, Desiree Rogers, in the front row at the Caroline Herrera show.
Now I don’t know how true this is, so please don’t quote me on it. But I heard that Desiree’s toned bare thighs caused quite a stir at the Caroline Herrera show yesterday.
Some thought Ms. Rogers’ fabulous attire was just a little too revealing for her high profile official status. And, they say “a few feathers were ruffled” back at the corral.
Again, I don’t know how true this is, but later on that day, Ms. Rogers was spotted at Donna Karan’s Collection Show wearing the same jacket and knit top matched with a pair of conservative black slacks instead of the revealing, head turning skirt she wore earlier.
Judging from these pics, we’ll be seeing a lot more of the beautiful Harvard MBA grad on the celebrity party scene.

Protests Planned For Hillary Clinton’s Visit To Jakarta
So much for Barack Obama unifying the world. The Obama administration isn’t even 30 days old and already people are protesting in the streets at home and abroad.
That must be some kind of record.
Anyway, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won’t feel the love when she visits Indonesia this week. Muslim officials had hoped Clinton’s first visit to Indonesia as U.S. SoS would bring “a new level of cooperation” between America and Indonesia.
But Muslims are already protesting in the streets ahead of her planned arrival. Muslim women and children held up placards during a protest outside the U.S. embassy in Jakarta yesterday (2/16). The little girl on the left holds a placard that reads, “Hillary is Israel’s accomplice and zionist”.
You know it’s bad when the children don’t even want you to come.
