The White House has classified any information regarding that terrifying attempt to update Barack Obama’s Air Force One jet file photos yesterday.
That means you will pay out of your pocket for the colossal cost of flying a 747 jet and two fighter pilots over a bridge in New York — and the White House doesn’t have to explain to you what the photo was really for.
As Greta Van Susteren remarked on her Gretawire blog: “they could have done it for no cost with photoshop!”
Wait for the conspiracy theorists to deliver their opinions on what they believe really happened in the skies over New York yesterday. That ought to be worth a few laughs.
By the way, I’m wondering if this was the Change you were hoping for when you voted this guy into office?

Most people who believed in Obama’s ‘change’ really didn’t know what his ‘change’ entailed. They’re votes were for superficial reasons alone.

People in OTHER countries live that reality every day and it’s usually followed by bombs, missing limbs, dead children, and lost of homes…Sorry if I’m feeling a bit over this story…

Yes I would have prob. ran too and been scared like those people. Post 5-8 I feel you. I’m tired of talking about it. Everytime I question Ms. Sandra she ignores my post and just chimes in on other responses that mostly share her views.
Thats how she rolls.
In all fairness I do think this situation could have been handled a lot better. Like notifying the city. I can understand how people must have felt and I fell terrible that they experienced that familiar fear again.
I don’t think however that it was Obama’s resposiblity to notify anyone. I am pretty sure that was someone else call and responsibility. Maybe it was decided that no one needed to notify the public. If that is so, then I believe it was a bad decision.
I agree with several of you. However, having a parent that worked for an alphabet club, the government does not and will not tell us EVERYTHING. I actually don’t even wanna know everything; just what I need to know to live my life safely and healthy. If he would have warned people, then for instance, what ever they were looking for, may have been altered. I would like to think that there was a reason why it was done other than just because “he can”.
It’s sad that people are all up in his behind like he was supposed to turn 8 years of agony into a storybook picture in 100 days. People who expected that are the real kool aid drinkers here.
