Source: OMG/Lil Wayne performance Was Not Planned
I just heard from a source close to Tiny’s camp who informed me that the appearance of Tiny’s preteen group OMG onstage with rappers Lil Wayne and Drake at the BET Awards was neither planned nor rehearsed.
My source said the group’s appearance onstage was a last minute decision by Wayne and no one else.
According to my source, what happened was Wayne’s daughter Reginae, 9, was upset that she didn’t get the chance to accompany her father, Lil Wayne, to the stage to accept his award because she was sitting too far back in the audience.
Once backstage, the youngster began to cry. And Wayne, who they say is a great dad, hated to see his little girl cry. So he told Reginae she could come out onstage during his performance with Drake. Reginae, being the team player that she is, asked the other members of her group to go out on stage with her.
So there you have it.
Also, remember that the 2009 BET Awards was pre-recorded on Saturday afternoon. So the girls were not up past their bedtimes.

Also, they need to teach Reginae azz that she isn’t entitled to get on the stage everytime her daddy wins a damn award. I hate that the bring everyone and their moma up there anyway. She missed out…deal. So she threw a hissy fit and was allowed to come on stage and shake it with daddy singing sex filled song. What a reward for her.

Hello All. Our precious little girls should have been no where near this stage. I’m just saying. But what good will it do? This hip/hop/rap culture has gone wayyyyyy to far to turn back now. Im embarrassed at the whole situation, CNN and other white folks were there and we looked like complete fools.

Auntie the award were not prerecorded.. It was live plus they weren’t up pass their bed time because Cali is 3 hours ahead of us and it came on at 8 making it 5 out there. And if the show was pre recorded with all the cussing that went on from Wayne to Jamie to Eddie Levert. I am sure BET would have edited that. And even if he did tell her to come up at the last mintue there was still some knowledge that those kids were going to be on stage while he performed that song. I see if they were on front row and he just pulled them out their seats but NO they came with him. SO TIny, Toya and Wayne should be ashamed to even have allowed that to happen. While Tiny “camp” wants to wait til two days after the awards to justify it when really there is NO justification…
So he still chose to sing that foul mouthed song with his daugther on stage..WTH!

naw it wasn’t pre-recorded. it was live, including that performance. people were on different blogs interacting and watching it along with the celebs. some celebs who were right there started talking about them on the spot, in a bad way. it was too many of them and audience members chiming in for it to have been taped previously, or saturday.
