Jay Z Concert Will Not Be Rescheduled at Chastain Park
According to WVEE’s Ryan Cameron of the Ryan Cameron Show, Live Nation will not reschedule Jay Z’s canceled concert at Chastain Park Amphitheater.
The concert, originally scheduled for Sunday, July 12, was canceled due to a few raindrops. Rumors were that the concert would be rescheduled for August 13, but Live Nation issued a press release denying those reports.
The reality is: Jay Z’s show was not the sell out that Live Nation had hoped it would be.
All week long, nervous Live Nation execs watched the numbers coming out of Atlanta with dismay. If only they had read Sandrarose.com, they would have known the South isn’t checking for Jay Z. Old man Jigga lost his swag the day of his 40th birthday.
Jay Z fans that I spoke with today are outraged after losing a ton of money on the Jay tickets. They vow to remember this outrage when Jay Z’s next album drops.
Chastain Park Amphitheater’s policy is no refunds. Concerts and events are rain or shine.

well i saw lines of people and live nation is issuing refunds surely you heard that if you was listening to ryan cameron and according to the email i received this morning

If this is true its not just the south where he didn’t sell out a show. I think that happened somewhere prior to this show. But he isn’t the only one. Its a recesson. People are watching how they spend their money.

Sandra u r so messy he did not sell out but the tickets that were left were for lawn only and I had great seats also but I thought Ryan did say that it was rescheduled. I’ll have to listen again @ 3:15, but LiveNation is also giving refunds.

@Luvly the fall is a new date not a re schedule date for this same show. Not the same thing. They were saying he was re scheudling this date which would means u couldnt get a refund. Live Nation said he is not re scheduling he can come back all he wants I still aint going..lol Ciara has been performing so she has no reason to LIE about being sick in her hometown she was going to perform sick and all.
