Lyrics: Rihanna – “Russian Roulette”
Earlier today, Rihanna leaked her new track “Russian Roulette” off her upcoming album ‘R’, which is slated for release November 23.
Loyal reader LaShea thinks the song’s lyrics are metaphorical as a symbol of Rihanna’s newfound freedom from her abuser, convicted felon Chris Brown. Sort of like she’s breaking free of the chains that used to bind her.
Sadly, that’s not what I’m hearing whispered around the industry.
They’re saying the rumors are true that Rihanna is still in love with Chris Brown and they still see each other despite the court ordered restraining order.

I will be the 1st to say I don’t know what did or didn’t happen in their relationship or the car that night BUT I know rumors were flying about her being jealous and possessive of him before Chriannagate so I don’t like how ppl want this song to be about her breaking free when in all honesty his azz may be the one that needed to be set free from her. I think they BOTH gave as good as they got and pray they have both worked on any and all issues they may have had esp if they are still creeping as I have heard/read as well.

Congrats Nichelle, nothing worse than a messed up grill. I was going to get some afew years ago. When they told me I was looking at 8k + I said forget it. Parents should be ashamed of themselves for not getting their kids braces while they are young. I want them for my 20 yr old. When I took her many yrs ago, she may have been 14, they told me that she was going to have to wear the head gear 18 hrs/day for two years before she even got the regular braces on.(my daughter played after school sports, she did not want to look like Urkel for two yrs. I have convinced myself that dentist are taking advantage of us. My daughters teeth aren’t even that bad.

But I just do t want to make my kids look at there father differently but I know my story could help women like rihianna but just haven’t found enough peace and strengh to do so. I think u have to limit what is said about your kids parent
I just aint convinced Rihanna is a victim of DV or abuse until she tells me so herself I believe that is a real issue in our community and those women need help and resources but I don’t personally see her as one of those women. I am sure she has a story to tell just not convinced its one of abuse.

I think she is saying Love is like playing Russian Roulette, like saying Love is a dangerous game and if you fail you die (heartbreak). People say to others “your playing roulette with your life” in regards to drugs, sex, over eating, etc anything addictive.

Umbrella first went to MJB and she passed on it and Rih got the catchy tune and that’s her only song I like.
