This is an almost unbelievable picture of U.S. President Barack Obama banging his umbrella against an overhead bar on a gate as he and first lady Michelle Obama toured the Columbia Parc Apartment Development yesterday (Aug. 29) in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Obama and the First Lady were strolling through the gate when the umbrella he was carrying impacted the overhead bar with a resounding clang! The noise so startled Michelle that she instinctively ducked down. Obama tried to laugh it off as he always does when he makes a goof in public. But look at Michelle’s face. How embarrassing for her!
Yesterday marked the five year anniversary of when Hurricane Katrina made landfall on the Gulf Coast and the storm took over 1,800 lives and devastated the region. Obama gave a small speech to the Hurricane Katrina survivors.

If you get a chance, make sure you watch Spike Lee’s documentary, “If God Willing and the Creek Don’t Rise”. Although I missed the first two hours, the last hour was pretty good. It’s been playing on HBO all weekend long.

So I don’t get why he is even in court litigating because he teaches now. Imgaine my surprise when I turned on that dag on TV and seen him…My Son even called me at work about it. I am trying not to be so judgemental about it, you know, give him the benefit of the doubt but I can’t help but think said, This n*gga here…

I hate that I missed that. I did see a couple on CNN who were able to buy a “Katrina Trailer” for 5 bucks. They were told how to pass inspection, by opening all the windows and doors. They are now both physically ill and can’t work nor give the trailer back, but still have no place to live besides the Trailer. This couple was from Mississippi. I am not believing the other stats that 95% of those affected in Mississippi have rebuilt.

Yeah so i’ll remember this the next time I’m holding an umbrella since it obviously reflects how I do my job. I’m pretty sure that the ubrella BLCOKED HIS VISION so he didn’t see the bar since it was OVER HIS HEAD and the umbrella clearly prevents him from seeing anything over it. They were probably talking and not paying attention.
