Troubled singer chris brown is in hot water for stealing the beat of another track for his own club single "Yeah 3x".

Calvin Harris was stunned to hear the similarities between his single "I'm Not Alone" and brown's club-tinged song off his upcoming “F.A.M.E.” (Forgiving All My Enemies) album.

Over the weekend, the Scottish musician took to his Twitter page to complain about brown hijacking his beat:

He has every right to be pissed: brown's synthesized beat and Harris' are nearly identical. Though the track was produced by a DJ, it behooves chris brown and his label to make sure the music is free and clear of samples or rights.

Harris plans to take legal action against brown and his record label.

Now here is Calvin's version (jump ahead to the 0:44 second mark to hear the similarities in the two tracks):

Singer Rihanna wore this colorful but uninspiring getup to match her red clown wig on the set of her "What's My Name" video over the weekend. While the pictures are cute, the real news is the falling out between Rihanna and her BFF former lover Melissa.

As loyal reader Eugenia points out, Melissa has been missing in action on the set of Rihanna's new movie 'Battleship':

Hi Sandra,
Long time reader, first time e-mailer (and I must say it's quite exciting) but moving on... Knowing you Sandra, you would have already clued onto this but just in case... Are you as curious as I am as to where Melissa, Rihanna's presumed BFF is these days? I haven't seen her in any of the recent shots of Rihanna, not in Hawaii whilst she was shooting her "movie", not at Vegas by the pool or at Kathy Perry's Hens and certainly not at Matt's recent Birthday bash.

I've noticed that since Melissa's disappearance, Rhianna's fashion sense has fizzed... Case on point- Rihanna's hair at the moment is not the business, her outfits (on and off stage) at the VMA's were tragic and we've rarely seen photos of her out and about looking fly.. It makes me query the extent of Melissa's influence on Rihanna? Is it possible that Melissa deserves a significant amount of credit for Rihanna's rise as a fashionista?

I certainly believe so, I read an interview with Rihanna a while back (the name of the publication escapes me) in which she credits Melissa for teaching her how to push the envelope in terms of her fashion and general attitude.

Eugenia has a point. Rihanna benefited from Melissa's sense of style. And she certainly seemed happier when Melissa was around.

For months now there has been rampant, unconfirmed rumors, that songbird Mariah Carey is pregnant with her and hubby Nick cannon's first child. Well, it should be evident that Mariah is in fact suffering from some sort of illness.

The industry grapevine has it that Mariah is suffering from "a serious medical problem" that could potentially threaten her career.

The rumors and innuendoes took on new life over the weekend when Mariah, whose face was pale and bloated, flew into Singapore on Friday (Sept. 24) to perform at a Formula 1 event.

A listless Mariah gave a lackluster performance in front of 110,000 screaming fans in Singapore. But as fan videos clearly show, Mimi had to sit to catch her breath numerous times during her show. Even if she was 6 months pregnant she wouldn't be that short of breath.

Then she slipped and fell onstage -- and had to be helped to her feet by assistants. Mariah couldn't even remove her own shoes without help! None of this sounds like a pregnancy that isn't even showing.

Many of us have seen the photos of Mariah leaving a Beverly Hills doctor's office in recent months. And Perez Hilton posted pics 2 months ago of Mariah's grossly distended belly.

Could Mariah be suffering from bleeding fibroids, an enlarged uterine cyst or some other gynecological problem that is sapping her strength?

While it's obvious that she is not pregnant, we can only speculate what the "serious medical problem" could be.

Let's face it, if a narcissist like Mariah was pregnant, she would have announced it by now so she can reap the benefits of all the attention her announcement would bring her.

Bishop Eddie Long, the embattled pastor of New Birth Missionary Church, addressed the growing church sex scandal that threatens to bring down his empire during a roisterous sermon this morning.

"The Bishop," as he referred to himself, welcomed his church family and "all our other guests."

"New Birth, we are not alone," he told his congregation. "We must not forget our strength is not in man -- it's not in Eddie Long -- but in the Lord!"

"For the sake of our visitors here today, we're here every Sunday at 8 and 11," he said to another round of applause.

Long then thanked his long suffering wife and their four grown children for their strength and support.

"I have never, ever portrayed myself as perfect, but I am not the person that they are portraying in the media! I'm not that. I'm not that," he said.

"Out of advice of my lawyers... I am not gonna allow myself to be drawn into the court of public opinion. Because one day every knee got to bow, and every tongue got to confess, and everybody's gotta give an account for themselves!," he said. "I only, and my only hope is, is in the hands of the Lord, and my justice is to be given to me in a fair court of justice," he stammered.

"As you know there have been accusations and attacks made against me, and I am going to vigorously fight all of 'em!," he told the parishioners as they stood and cheered. "I feel like Goliath -- David, rather -- facing Goliath. There's a giant in front of me. But I am going to fight, and I'm gonna fight vigorously! And I got five rocks and I haven't thrown one yet!," said Long as he lay down his mic and strode off the podium to thunderous applause.

Not once did he deny the charges in lawsuits brought against him by 4 former Longfellow Academy students who accuse Long of coercion by plying them with cash, cars, gifts and exotic trips in return for sex..

Afterwards, Long held a press conference but he didn't take any questions from the media.

The bishop's long suffering wife, Vanessa Long, accompanied him to the pulpit.

Yesterday morning I received an unexpected phone call from V-103's morning man Frank Ski. As the co-host of Atlanta's top rated morning show, his voice should have been easily recognizable. But the background noise made it difficult to hear him. It sounded like he was standing in the middle of Peachtree street during rush hour traffic.

"You know I'm calling to laugh with you, right?," he began. "I saw that post that that lady wrote... on your page," he said, referring to this fanMAIL from loyal reader Barbie Jones.

In her email, "Barbie" called for Frank Ski to resign as co-host of the popular Frank & Wanda Morning Show because, she wrote, he is "too emotionally invested in the scandal that is the Bishop Eddie Long/New Birth Missionary Baptist Church lawsuit."

"He, Nina Brown, and everyone else are entitled to their opinion, but the “People’s Station” cannot be used for their biased lecturing," she wrote.

But Ski, who is a longtime member of Long's church, disagreed with Barbie's assertion that his morning show crew showed bias toward Long.

During our conversation Ski seemed self assured, but conflicted in his ongoing support and loyalty to Long.

"It's kinda hard to like explain to people what you mean, because sometimes you say [things] on the radio and people misunderstand what it was I said, you know?," said Ski.

The following are excerpts from the call:

With this Bishop Long thing, I just want you to know, because we're friends, that my whole thing with him was not supporting what he did -- if he did anything -- because I really don't know. It wasn't even about what he did. And what I tried to explain to people was, I said I had 2 trains of thought. The first train of thought was that, as a Christian person, you know, I still have faith in God. I don't put my faith in nobody, you know what I'm saying? So, like, my faith is not in... my faith is not in Bishop Long. That's not where my faith is. My faith is in God. And it just so happens that he was, you know, the preacher at the church. And the second thing was when I told people that I was loyal what I'm trying to tell people is, 'I'm your friend.' So, the bottom line is, to give you an example, if somebody said, 'well, you're friends with Sandra Rose.' And I say, 'Yeah, I'm friends with Sandra Rose.' 'Well, you know Sandra shot somebody.' I'd be like, 'damn. Okay.' And the news comes out, and I'd be like, 'well, Sandra's my friend.' You know, I'ma support her through this process while she goes to court. I'ma support her, you know what I'm saying? She gets convicted and goes to jail. Then I'ma be the negro going to jail to visit her. Because that's my friend, you know what I mean? And at the end, I will tell her. I'ma be like, Sandra, you know shooting somebody wasn't good. You're still my friend, but you can't be doing that, you know what I mean?

According to CBS News, Bishop Eddie Long spoke out for the first time today about allegations that he coerced three teenage church members into having sexual relationships with him.

CBS Atlanta affiliate WGCL was the only news organization on a telephone conference call with parishioners from across the country who were looking for answers.

"We will arise through this situation, and go forward, and we are moving forward," Long said during the call.

WGCL reports that Long said several times that he didn't know who was on the call, so he had to be careful what he said because the case is in litigation. He also said he would not take any questions.

In his first public statement since the allegations became public, he asked others on the call to pray for his wife, his children, and his church.

"I have never dealt with anything like this before. I have been under attack before, but everything else has been different levels and different challenges," Long continued.

Never once did Long say he was innocent, but he said the truth would be revealed, and that he is praying for his accusers.

"Know that I am also praying for the families and the young men who are accusing. I always operate in the spirit of love, and we are going to move through this," he said.

Update:
A 4th man has come forward to say he had sexual relationship with Bishop Eddie Long, who may step down as pastor of New Birth Baptist Missionary Church this Sunday.

Apparently, this anti-gay undercover homo bishop thing is nothing new in the religious community.

According to Rod 2.0, a formerly closeted anti-gay Pentecostal bishop was convicted of killing a young woman in his congregation in 2008.

Prosecutors say Bishop Robert Reaves murdered Latrese Curtis because she came between him and his male roommate whom he had the hots for.

I'm not making this up.

Reaves, a former minister at Cedar International Fellowship in Durham, NC, was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors say Reaves followed Curtis from NCCU in Durham to Raleigh, forcing her to pull over along I-540 and then repeatedly slashed and stabbed her with a knife. Her body was discovered by drivers passing on the highway January 30, 2008.

Curtis's father said he's still perplexed by the motive and that his daughter probably died confused.

"She probably don't even know why this happened to her. And we probably will never know why it happened to her except the fact that he wanted the young man," said Sherman Jones. [link]

The "young man" in question is former North Carolina Central University basketball star Steven Randolph, who testified that Reaves offered him free room and board in exchange for oral sex.

Curtis was the girlfriend of Randolph, who considers himself to be heterosexual. Randolph testified that he and Curtis had engaged in sexual intercourse about an hour before she was found dead.

He said the condom came off during intercourse and the two of them worried that she might become pregnant. But as it turned out, that was the least of her worries.

Prosecutors say Reaves stalked Curtis after she left his home and brutally killed her in revenge for sleeping with Randolph.

Reaves claimed he had an alibi for the night Curtis was murdered: he said he was at his church giving a sermon. But the congregation and videotape dispute that.

According to WRAL, investigators found the murder weapon in Reaves' car and his DNA was on the victim's steering wheel. Reaves car was also seen near the crime scene.

...the former minister at the fundamentalist Cedar International Fellowship in Durham, made "unsuccessful advances toward other male friends and [also] took revenge on their girlfriends." Reaves has twice been charged with sexual misconduct with young boys.

Raleigh's WTVD reported that during the murder trial, Reaves attorney asked a judge to keep jurors from hearing that Reaves was gay. But the judge overruled the motion, saying the defendant's sexual orientation was relevant to the prosecution's theory.

Embattled New Birth Missionary Church Pastor Bishop Eddie Long faces multiple lawsuits alleging he coerced young boys into performing sexual acts in exchange for cash and lavish gifts.

Long will address the charges at New Birth on Sunday.

Thanks to celebrity blogger Drew of Drewreports.com for bringing this story to my attention.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was all smiles as she and her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley entered the courthouse today. Lohan wore a white pleated skirt, a black jacket and Christian Louboutin heels.

But the smiles soon faded as a judge revoked LiLo's probation and remanded her into the custody. Lohan is headed back to her jail cell at a woman's detention center in LA.

Judge Elden Fox, who took over her case from Judge Marsha Revel, denied Lohan's bond and sent her back to jail for failing 2 drug tests.

According to TMZ, Lohan appeared shocked as the sentencing was handed down. She looked at her attorney and was immediately handcuffed and transported to jail covered by a blanket.

Judge Revel originally sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail followed by 90 days in a drug rehab program. But celebrities have made such a mockery of the justice system in LA that Lindsay was able to serve less than 2 weeks in jail and almost 3 weeks in a rehab facility in UCLA.

The star struck UCLA doctors recommended an early release for Lindsay after they determined she was not a substance abuser.

According to TMZ:

Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told reporters Lindsay will be housed in "administrative segregation" because of her celebrity status for her safety and the safety of the jail system. He also said the only way she could be released before her probation hearing on oct 22 is if the judge issues another order

Update I, 1:38 pm ET:

Lindsay Lohan posted a $300,000 bond and was released from jail late last night. Judge Eldin Fox revoked Lohan's bond Friday and ordered her to jail until her revocation hearing on Oct. 22. But Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, filed an appeal of the decision right before court closed yesterday.

Lohan must wear a SCRAM ankle bracelet and report to her probation officer within 24 hours.

"I pray to God that Shawn does the right thing and advises her to go right into rehab now, and show the judge she's serious, because in 30 days when she goes back before the judge he can do whatever he wants," Michael Lohan, her father, told CNN.

Here's an interesting video a loyal reader just sent me. It was filmed the other day during a Trey Songz promo stop at 100.3 The Beat in Philly.

Ladies, study the above picture of Trey Songz well. This is what many in the psych field refer to as a Narcissistic Stare.

Trey Songz is a narcissist who is used to people around him stroking his enormous, yet fragile ego. He became incensed when the DJ told him he wasn't feeling his reality show.

This news should not have come as a surprise to Trey since his show was a ratings disaster for BET.

But what I want you to watch is the transformation that comes over Trey's face as it suddenly dawns on him that someone in the room isn't awestruck by his fake charm.

Watch as Trey ceases whatever he was doing to focus intently on the enemy in the room who dares to criticize him.

Anyone who has ever dealt with a narcissist will recognize the Narcissistic Stare. It is unmistakable and it is one of the hallmarks of narcissism. Another hallmark is the narcissist's inability to take constructive criticism in any shape or form.

You can almost see the horns growing out of Trey's scalp as he struggles with his inability to handle criticism.

Pat Finley of the Controlling Selfish Men blog explains the Narcissistic Stare better than I can:

The narcissistic stare has been experienced by many of us who have had the misfortune to associate with Ns [Narcissists]. Presumably, not every N does The Stare but from all reports, a significant majority does. The N’s stare is piercing, unwavering, reptilian. Seemingly flattering, this stare is unnerving – and is meant to be unnerving.

The Ns look right through you. A woman who is not familiar with Ns might think he is simply paying complete and rapt attention to her but he is not. The Ns are staring at you to see how vulnerable you are. Some believe that the Ns use their stare to look through you to your soul for the sole purpose of determining whether you are viable prey or not.

Once you are in a relationship with an N, they stare at you in order to control you. Their withering glare is meant to cow you into submission. It is a strong woman indeed who does not back down under the malevolent narcissistic stare.

Legendary pop singer Janet Jackson and her billionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana went for a walk together after having lunch in New York City yesterday. Janet's delusional ex, Jermaine dupri, is somewhere eating his heart out and still refusing to face reality that they are no longer together.

I am told that the real reason Janet dumped JD is because she was tired of footing all the bills for his broke azz. Janet wanted a real man who had his own coins. It is not cute for a man to let his woman pay for everything just because she can.

Steve Forbes of Forbes magazine recently coordinated a sit-down meeting with legendary billionaire investor Warren Buffett and former drug dealer-turned-rapper Jay Z in Omaha.

The meeting was part of the Forbes 400 Summit, and Forbes' goal was to pick the brains of the two men to expose the secrets of their rise to success.

The cover piece describes Jay Z's most recent chess move: buying his last album back from Def Jam so he, and only he, could reap the profits from the sales.

Big deal. He's not the only rapper to buy his masters.

Jay-Z revealed that his last album, “The Blueprint 3,” which included the multi-platinum single “Empire State of Mind,” wasn’t originally set for release on his current Roc Nation imprint.

“The year I went over to create Roc Nation with Live Nation, I still had one album left to make with Def Jam. L.A. Reid, the chairman of Def Jam at the time, did a great thing for me. He allowed me to walk in and have the conversation with [chairman of parent company Universal Music Group] Doug Morris,” Jay said.

“I had to walk into Doug’s office the next day and buy an album back that might leak the next day…But it was worth it, you know. I was heading in a different direction and needed that freedom. It was a great decision for the company. They got some money. And a great decision for me.” [link]

The most interesting statement to come out of this incongruous meeting is 80-year-old Buffett's musing that young people could "learn from" Jay Z -- a former drug dealer who continues to glorify his criminal past.

“Jay is teaching in a lot bigger classroom than I’ll ever teach in,” Buffett said. “They’re going to learn from somebody. For a young person growing up he’s the guy to learn from.”

So Jay Z is a teacher now? This 40-year-old man who can't even pull his pants up is teaching the youth of America? Please don't make me laugh. Has Warren Buffet even listened to Jay Z's music?

I respect Buffett's business acumen, but he is clearly out of touch -- and misinformed -- when it comes to Hip Hop and it's negative effects on the youth of America.

Jay Z may be the most prosperous and prominent rapper on the scene today. And he's certainly smart enough to know when to put on a well-tailored suit and speak with near perfect grammar in mixed company.

But Jay Z is no role model or teacher. What he is is a great con artist.

If Jay Z really wanted to influence the youth of today in a positive manner, he could start by pulling his pants up.

Thanks to Esha for sending this candid video of Bishop Eddie Long's accusers, Maurice Robinson and Anthony Flagg.

The undated video, which was posted on YouTube today, was filmed in a classroom setting. Robinson and Flagg talk about girls and making it rain, while tossing $5 bills into the air.

Both men filed separate lawsuits in DeKalb county on Tuesday alleging sexual abuse and fiduciary misconduct on the part of mega-church leader Bishop Eddie Long.

Robinson tripped my GayDar several times, although those could have been false readings based on the low res quality of the video.

Socialite and sometime model Selita Ebanks denies dating troubled rapper/producer Kanye West.

Of course we knew this all along, but Ebanks has finally spoken out about the rumors that she is dating West, who is humorously referred to in some circles as a "gay fish."

Model and former Nick Cannon boo thang Selita Ebanks has denied gettin' cozy with rapper Kanye West. Ebanks, (who was also linked to Maxwell some months ago), and West were snapped sitting next to each other at the U.S. Open and at this week's New Yorkers for Children Benefit Gala.

Despite Kanye referring to Selita as his 'muse,' Ebanks set the record straight regarding herself and Mr. West.

“I’m just happy that he’s a great friend. I love his creativity. I love that he thinks outside the box,” she continued. “He’s just himself. Not only am I a fan, I support him 100%.” Read more

Frank Ski admitted that he was biased in this instance.

Remember someone named Carol Blackman? When controversy courted her too closely, she was gone from the Morning Show.

The Morning Show is bigger than one or two people. Frank has demonstrated today that he is biased, troubled, and worried all for Bishop Eddie Long.

He’s not shown concern for the youths, yet he is a purported “child advocate.” It’s a horrible stance that he’s chosen to take, so publicly and so adamantly.

While the details of the case are made known, and while the legal wheels are turning, Mr. Ski needs to recuse himself.

What about the youth? What about the good of the community versus standing in blind faith for wrong?

Frank Ski has a dog in this fight. As such, he needs to do his “shot calling” from another podium.
Let the People’s Station return to honor.

New photos have surfaced showing troubled New Birth Pastor Bishop Eddie Long posing in a bathroom mirror wearing tight muscle shirts and bicycle shorts. The photos were first aired by ABC News yesterday evening.

The cell phone pictures are of the variety that men send to women they are crushing on.

The married father of four allegedly sent the undated pics via text message to the three young men named in separate sexual harassment lawsuits filed against him.

On Tuesday Anthony Flagg, 21, and Maurice Robinson, 20, of DeKalb County (pictured left), filed lawsuits against Long and his ministry, alleging sexual coercion and fiduciary misconduct.

Robinson was charged with theft in June after he and another man broke into Long's office and stole Long's iPhone and iPad, among other items.

Some have speculated that the men broke into Long's office in search of evidence (such as pictures and text messages) to be used in their impending lawsuits against him.

Long was scheduled to address the sex scandal on local radio shows this morning, but he canceled his appearances after a 3rd lawsuit was filed yesterday by Jamal Pariss, 23, a former member of New Birth who claims Long made him call him "daddy."

Long also canceled a press conference which was scheduled for later today.

Long's attorney, Craig Gillen, read a brief statement from Long on the air this morning on The Tom Joyner Morning show on Kiss 104.1 and The Frank & Wanda Morning Show on V-103.

He said Long would address the scandal this coming Sunday during the 11 a.m. service at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church at 6400 Woodrow Road in Lithonia.

In addition to "categorically" denying the allegations against his client, Gillen stammered out an explanation of the cell phone "muscle shirt" pictures that are sweeping the Internet and blog sites:

"The photos don't corroborate these charges. [Bishop Long] is a health advocate, he's a weight lifter. Uh, he's a fella, you know, who's gonna go to work and he's gonna have on a muscle shirt. And he's gon', you know, he may show up in church, uh, you know, in a muscle shirt. And... I know sure enough he can come, he comes down to my office in a muscle shirt. So, uh, you know, uh, there's nothing really in those photographs that seems to me, uh, in any way that, uh, is uh, corroborative of, uh, of these allegations.

According to online reports, a third man has come forward to file a sexual abuse lawsuit against Bishop Eddie Long, the pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

The plaintiff, identified as Jamal Paris, is represented by Attorney B.J. Bernstein, the same attorney representing the first two men who came forward accusing the Atlanta-area megachurch pastor of coercing them into a sexual relationship.

The latest lawsuit filed on behalf of Paris contains similar complaints against the bishop, said Bernstein. In the suit, Paris details how Long allegedly gave him his personal cell phone number two weeks after they first met. Paris also alleged that Long encouraged him to call him daddy. According to the suit, Paris’ father had not been a positive figure in his life.

In the suit, Paris said he later became Long’s personal assistant, and that Long would ask him to remain in his private office after church, where Long allegedly engaged in sexual misconduct with Paris.

On Tuesday two other young men, Anthony Flagg, 21, and Maurice Robinson, 20, of DeKalb County (pictured left), filed lawsuits against Long and his ministry, alleging sexual coercion.

"Long shared a bedroom and engaged in intimate sexual contact with plaintiff Flagg including kissing, massaging, masturbating of plaintiff Flagg by defendant Long and oral sexual contact," the suit says.

Long took Robinson to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2008 for his 19th birthday and engaged in oral sex with him, Robinson's suit alleges.

On June 23rd, police arrested Robinson and another man, Anthony Boyd, 19, and charged them with burglarizing New Birth Church on June 13.

“Maurice (Robinson) immediately told what he did when he was confronted about it. He returned the black diamonds, the gold, the things that he had in the bishop’s office,” Bernstein said.

A statement released by Craig Gillen, attorney for Long, said, “Bishop Eddie Long adamantly denies the allegations. It is unfortunate that the two young men have chosen to take this course of action. We are reviewing the complaints and will respond accordingly.”

Troubled rapper Kanye West and his Muse Selita Ebanks attended the 2010 New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC last night. Kanye's reps continue to insist the couple are "just friends," but Kanye is doing his best to put forward the notion that there is more than just air between them.

Word on la calle is that Island Records honcho LA Reid and singer/songwriter/label exec The Dream are out at Def Jam.

I heard this rumor over the weekend, and after stifling a yawn I moved on with my life. Who really cares? Isn't this the 200th time we've heard this rumor? I'm beginning to think Reid himself is putting out these rumors to keep his name on everyone's lips.

Anyway, my nephew Sam over at ThatGrapeJuice says the rumors are not true:

Reports have been swirling today that Island Def Jam CEO, Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, had been fired from his post by the heads of the Universal Music Group. However, XXL magazine has received word from an official representative of the label who confirms that the rumours “are completely untrue and without merit”.

Reid, who became the head of IDJ in 2004, is credited for signing Mariah Carey, Young Jeezy, Justin Bieber and OutKast to the label. However, the music mogul received severe criticism from industry pundits after the underwhelming performances of Rihanna and Carey’s most recent studio albums as well as for adding rapper Shyne and Jennifer Lopez to the label’s lineup.

More mindless garbage from cartoonish rapper Nicki Minaj whose debut album drops on November 23. It's laughable that she thinks her CD will go platinum with lines like this:

    What are we doing?
    Could you see through me?
    'Cause you say 'Nicki'
    And I say' who, me?'
    And you say 'no, you'

    And I say 'screw you'
    And you start dressing
    And you start leaving
    And I start crying
    And I start screaming

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church continues to defend its embattled Pastor, Bishop Eddie Long, who stands accused of using his excessive influence over young men in his ministry by coercing them into providing him with sexual favors in return for cash and lavish gifts.

The plaintiffs, Anthony Flagg, 21, and Maurice Robinson, 20, of DeKalb County, filed lawsuits against Long and his ministry on Tuesday.

In an interview with Roland Martin on the Tom Joyner Morning Show this morning, the plaintiff's attorney B.J. Bernstein laid out her shaky case against Long.

At one point she said Long urged the boys to text him photos of themselves fully clothed. "What's wrong with that?, Martin responded.

She alleged that one of the plaintiffs approached Bishop Long last May for counseling after his friend died, “Instead, the bishop makes a move on him.”

Bernstein also said she would subpoena Long’s phone records, e-mail and travel itinerary to bolster her case.

In other words: she has no evidence to support her case other than the dubious statements of the boys -- one of whom was charged with breaking into New birth Missionary church back in July.

Art Franklin, the head of public relations for New Birth Missionary Baptist Church called into the V-103 Frank and Wanda Morning show this morning to categorically deny the allegations against Long.

Franklin said the church found out about the allegations through the media. "We have not actually been served any copies of the lawsuits," he told Frank Ski, who is a staunch supporter of Long and a longtime member of New Birth Missionary Baptist church.

Rumor has it that Franklin himself was caught up in a similar sex scandal when his wife divorced him, citing extramarital affairs -- with other men.

A new book by Washington Post editor Bob Woodward (of Watergate fame) has tongues wagging across America this morning.

The book, released today, titled Obama's Wars, paints the Obama administration as dysfunctional, and depicts the president himself as lackadaisical when it comes to national security.

During an hourlong interview with Woodward in July, US president Barack Obama said “We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it and we are stronger.”

The quote gives the impression that Obama is saying, 'sure, there'll be tremendous casualties on our side, but we'll get over it -- we'll absorb it -- just as we did on September 11.'

Some say Obama's words are code words to give our enemies the heads up that we are not prepared to protect this country from a domestic terrorist attack.

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton blasted Obama's statement during an appearance on "Fox and Friends" this morning. Bolton said it proves Obama may not be fit to be commander-in-chief.

Political blogger Warner Todd Huston says Obama hasn’t done anything to make sure the U.S. can absorb another attack.

"Obama has done his level best to make us more vulnerable. From reducing the threat status, to eliminating intelligence programs that were getting results," he writes.

Ace of Spades blogger “Ace” wrote that he believes the comment is Obama's way of cajoling Americans into accepting the inevitable terrorist attacks as a means to bring about peace between America and the middle East. “We’re just going to have to be mature about mass murder,” wrote Ace [Emphasis his].

Ace points to Obama's own past statements criticizing the CIA's methods of extracting information from terrorists:

...the left is pushing this idea that we can safely “absorb” many new 9/11?s with an eye towards getting us to “accept” the greater bargain they fatuously offer — peace, and a general wind-down of post-9/11 security “overreactions” like the FBI tracking Muslims suspected of terrorist ties. If only we didn’t overreact to the occasional mass-murder [of Americans], we could go about our business without war, without increased security measures, without “Islamophobia,” without the rest of it.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post, which was advanced a copy of Woodward's book, portrays an Obama administration that is disjointed, dysfunctional and rife with backstabbing and finger pointing within its ranks.

For example, Vice President Joe Biden detested the president’s special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke, calling him “the most egotistical bastard I’ve ever met.” And new Afghanistan War General David Petraeus abhorred dealing with the president’s senior adviser David Axelrod because he was “a complete spin doctor.” [link]

According to the Atlanta Journal, one of Pastor Eddie Long's accusers was recently charged with burglarizing Long's megachurch.

The incident occurred on June 13 when two thieves were caught on surveillance video using a master key to enter Bishop's private office at New Birth Baptist Church on Panthersville Road in Decatur, Georgia.

At the time police believed the burglary was an inside job.

The thieves stole an iPad, iPhone and other items totaling $1,300 according to the AJC. The master key, which was taken from a secretary's desk on June 11, reappeared mysteriously 4 days later.

On June 23rd, police arrested Anthony Boyd, 19, of Decatur, and Maurice Robinson, 20, and charged them with burglary. Robinson is one of two men who filed lawsuits accusing Pastor Long of coercing them into having sex with him on trips out of town.

The other plaintiff is Anthony Flagg, 21, who said he began having intimate relations with Long at age 16, which is the legal age of consent in Georgia. Flagg was given lavish gifts by Long including a Mustang sports car.

The suit alleges Long began to spend personal time with Robinson when he was 15 years old.

Pastor Long’s attorney, Craig Gillen, adamantly denied the allegations.

"It is unfortunate that these two young men have chosen to take this course of action."

Both Flagg and Robinson are seeking a trial by jury and unspecified monetary damages.

Their attorney, B.J. Bernstein, claims to have emails, text messages and photographs that confirm relationships of a personal nature existed between the men and Long, according to the AJC.

“It’s not just these two. There are young men around him at all times,” said Bernstein. “There are kids at risk now.”

Bernstein said Robinson burglarized the church out of frustration after learning that Pastor Long had also been intimate with Flagg and other young men in the church.

“He lashed out,” Bernstein said. “But if it weren’t for that act, we wouldn’t know about this. He talked to his friends and learned Long had other ‘spiritual sons.’”

Bishop Eddie Long serves as a "spiritual adviser" to a number of Atlanta celebrities and VIPs, including singer Mariah Carey, comedian chris Tucker, singer Usher, rapper Ludacris and local radio personality Frank Ski.

According to CNN.com, two Georgia men have filed a sexual coercion lawsuit against Bishop Eddie Long, Pastor of the mega New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

Long also acts as Spiritual advisor to a number of Atlanta celebrities, including rapper T.I. and V-103 Morning show co-host Frank Ski.

Yes, Bishop Long is married, but that didn't stop the gay rumors from persisting for years.

According to the lawsuit:

"Defendant Long has a pattern and practice of singling out a select group of young male church members and using his authority as Bishop over them to ultimately bring them to a point of engaging in a sexual relationship."

The pastor took one plaintiff, Anthony Flagg, 21, on overnight trips to a half-dozen American cities in recent years, Flagg's suit alleges.

"Long shared a bedroom and engaged in intimate sexual contact with plaintiff Flagg including kissing, massaging, masturbating of plaintiff Flagg by defendant Long and oral sexual contact," the suit says.
Long took the other plaintiff, Maurice Murray Robinson, 20, to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2008 for his 19th birthday and engaged in oral sex with him, Robinson's suit alleges.

"Following the New Zealand Trip, Defendant Long regularly engaged in sexual touching, and other sexual acts with Plaintiff Robinson," Robinson's suit alleges.

For years now, the only spawn of Alice Walker, has made it her mission to try and ruin her mother's life the way she perceives that her mother has ruined hers.

In retaliation, the famed 'Color Purple' author has cut 40-year-old Rebecca Walker from her will.

I can't say as I blame her. Enough is enough. When will Rebecca grow up and accept the fact that she is responsible for her own happiness in life?

Rebecca has written books (including Baby Love) and given interviews to numerous publications, while focusing on whining about her childhood.

"A good mother is attentive, sets boundaries and makes the world safe for her child. But my mother did none of those things," says Rebecca in an interview with British newspaper The Daily Mail.

"My mom taught me that children enslave women," she continued. "I grew up believing that children are millstones around your neck, and the idea that motherhood can make you blissfully happy is a complete fairytale."

While Rebecca's childhood and excellent Yale education doesn't seem to be too shabby (she's a contributor to publications, including Essence, Ms., Glamour, Interview and Vibe), she complains that she was not her mother's top priority:

"I came very low down in her priorities," she says, "after work, political integrity, self-fulfillment, friendships, spiritual life, fame and travel."

She goes on to discuss her mother's personal life, which includes dating singer Tracy Chapman when she was in her late 50's and early 60's.

And therein lies the problem. Here's the rest of the story:

Rebecca, who is bisexual, fails to mention that she lost the love of her life (Chapman) to her own mother. And that is why Rebecca ended up dating lesbian singer Meshell Ndegeocello instead.

She also doesn't bother to mention the $60,000 that Tracy loaned Rebecca and her little lesbun friends to start up a lesbian Internet Cafe business in the mid 90s.

All was well until the Internet Cafe failed to turn a profit and Tracy called in the loan.
