White House To Release Bin Laden Death Photo
BREAKING NEWS: The White House has agreed to release graphic images of 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden’s body in response to worldwide demands for proof of the Al Qaeda leader’s death.
U.S. President Barack Obama (who many believe is Muslim) was very hesitant to release any images of Osama’s body which might upset and inflame Muslims around the world.

Tue May 03 2011 10:22:50 ETPresident Obama decided Tuesday morning to release at least one photo showing Osama Bin Laden’s death, a top source claims.
The images, being described as ‘graphic’, are bound to stir emotions in the east and the west, and will likely become the most viewed photographs in modern history.
One image shows a bullet wound to his head above his left eye.
Will it remove all doubt about the death?
The exact timing on the release is being debated.

The decision to give bin Laden a respectful Muslim burial was made by Obama even before Navy SEALS stormed bin Laden’s heavily fortified hideout near Islamabad, Pakistan early Sunday.
John Brennan, President Obama’s chief counterterrorism adviser, said yesterday evening that Obama had not decided whether to release any photos or videos.
“We are going to do everything we can to make sure that nobody has any basis to try to deny that we got Osama bin Laden,” Brennan told reporters.
“bin Laden’s corpse was badly disfigured, making it all the more difficult to decide whether to release images, particularly of his face,” said Brennan.
Bin Laden was reportedly shot twice in the head, over the left eye. The rounds blew off part of his head and disfigured his face. But according to government officials, they were able to identify him by what was left of his features.

More details of the 3 sets of bin Laden death photos that the White House were given are as follows:
1. Photos of OBLs body at a hanger after he was brought back to Afghanistan. This is the most recognizable with a clear picture of his face. The picture is gruesome because he has a massive open head wound across both eyes. It’s very bloody and gory.
2. Photos from the burial at sea on the USS Carl Vinson. Photos of OBL before the shroud was put on and then wrapped in the shroud.
3. There are photos of the raid itself that include photos of the two dead brothers, one of OBLs dead son (adult adolescent, maybe approx 18 yrs old) and some of the inside scene of the compound.
The official says the challenge is that the picture that includes the most recognizable image of OBLs face – from the hangar in Afghanistan – is so gruesome and mangled its not appropriate for say the front page of the newspaper. On the other hand, this is the one that is most identifiable as him. Source

The families of the victims would see it as closure but we also have to be prepared for the backlash that will inevitably come on way.
To feel an inner “relief” because someone has passed is completely different from celebrating the death of someone.

I think the celebrations are more about people knowing that the sick bastard who determined Americans expendable just because he doesn’t like us and our way of living is gone.
Regadless of whether he was brought in alive or if they had killed him people were still going to celebrate. So I don’t think his “death” is what they’re celebrating.
The point isn’t that his death will end all terrorism but it’s a start. When you get rid of a rapist that doesn’t mean that the world will be free of rapist. It just means that his victims have justice. When you get rid of a pedophile that doesn’t mean that all pedophiles will instantly stop harming children. It just means that there is one less monster you have to deal with.
People requesting pictures is stupid. How will you know who it is? People will dispute the evidence no matter what it is.
They give you DNA evidence and you still don’t believe so what more is there to do. Pictures and video won’t prove a thing.
I am empathetic to the New Yorkers or anyone else who directly suffered from 9/11.

They said he was killed then his body flown to Afghanistan for DNA testing, then it was flown to an aircraft carrier way out in the Arabian sea, then he was given a traditional funeral and his body washed, blah, blah, blah!! I read that he died a week ago. Then I read that he could not be buried anywhere because no one in any country wanted his grave site to be turned into a “shrine”. Also they said they had to bury him w/in 24 hrs. of his death, and they buried him out at Sea because this is customary w/The Navy. I also heard that capturing him has been a 18 month planned process w/lots of secret meetings.

No, the difference is that in the West we have the news propagandize things for us so that we can justify using military action.
Remember how invading Iraq happened out of thin air? We had just invaded Afghanistan but then all of a sudden Saddam was Enemy No.1 and we had to invade Iraq and take him out.
Bush was running around the country like Chicken Little with his hair on fire telling everyone that if we didn’t attack Iraq that there would be another 9/11. Hell even Tony Blair got into the act.

I dont think that his death gives ppl peace of mind. The closure these ppl needed should not have come from the death of the mastermind (not the actual murderer) behind 9-11, but the acceptance of death, the knowledge that we will all meet again, and the good memories the ones lost left behind.
His death doesn’t make you miss your loved ones less. And if anything, its heightened the fear that a retaliation will occur.
So why was he shot?

I am not going to be dancing for joy (not even in my thoughts) for this man’s death. We all are God’s people and I don’t think that we should be having these kinds of thoughts, because that make us just as guilty.

I’m still trying to figure out how all of this happened in a 12 hour span. Did they just take The First 48 time slot or something, b/c this is the quickest open and shut case that I have EVER seen, complete with a autopsy AND burial? In 12 hours? Hell the “OK corral shoot out lasted 44 minutes. So I’ll round that up to an hour. Then they had to take him somewhere to get a DNA sample. Then if I’m not mistaken I thought I heard something about an autopsy.
From what I KNOW, personally, an autopsy can take damn near 3 to 4 hours depending on whats being autopsied and in this case, what were they autopsy’n? Then he had to be loaded into a plane and flown out to sea. How long does it take to load and fly to their destination? So did they “throw Osama from the plane” into the sea? Or did they unload him from the plane onto a ship, said a prayer, sang a hymn, let folks fall out over his casket (yall know how folks do) then dump him in the sea? I mean what? Twelve hours is NOT enough time.
