Deion and Pilar Sanders celebrates his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Deion “Primetime” Sanders, 43, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame recently. So the former Florida State alumni and Atlanta Falcons standout came to back to Atlanta, where it all started for him, to celebrate his milestone achievement.

According to Tami of Talkingwithtami.com, Primetime’s wife, Pilar, reality star Chilli, and numerous football players, past and present, came out to support their friend. The gala was held at the 200 Peachtree venue in downtown Atlanta, where red and black attire (Falcons colors) were a “strict” dress code requirement.

Deion and his stunning wife Pilar were decked out in coordinating outfits. Deion wore a burgundy shirt, black pinstriped suit with red buttons and a red, paisley-print tie. Pilar wore a black, flowing, backless evening gown with black designer stilettos. The mother of 3 looked fabulous!

In keeping with Deion’s infamous overinflated ego, a boxing announcer stood on the red carpet to (loudly) announce the arrival of Primetime and his large entourage of family, friends and staff, who showed up on a decked out custom bus. Also in attendance were former Atlanta Braves great, Brian Jordan, and his expectant wife; TLC singer Chilli and her latest catch; and R&B singer Keith Sweat, who performed at the event.

@Laci, girl mineral oil (which is petroleum jelly, basically crude oil) is HORRIBLE for AA hair! Basically it coats & chokes ur hair strands preventing moisture from penetrating (our hair needs moisture like we need air to breath to be healthy) Now here’s what’s interesting..like 95% of black hair care products contain mineral oil. & we wonder y our hair isn’t healthy! It’s the crap we are using to care for it that’s actually detrimental to it. Don’t get me started on hair

I use seaman… it is good for ur hair, it will stale ur breathe if you wish to be left alone, have some then try to have a conversation. As for the cocnut oil, just make sure that it is virgin/organic coconut oil – mines comes from Vitamin Shoppe.

A moisturizer is a product that puts moisture in your hair (conditioner, pomades, etc.), a sealant is an oil that is then used to lightly coat the hair to seal in the moisture.

I’e- put plain Olive Oil on your hair and see how it feels at the end of the day- probably dry a bit.

Spray some water w/condish on your hair and THEN coat with Olive Oil and your hair won’t dry out for a couple of days. Any oil is a sealant- water/moisture cannot penetrate the hair once it has any oil substance on it.

Shampoo strips the hair and dries it out. Our hair is not naturally oily like Caucasians so we don’t need our hair stripped of its natural oils as often because it’ll just make it even more dry and brittle. We need moisture more than anything and conditioner helps that.

You still will need to wash/clarify with shampoo every so often to prevent product buildup on your hair (ACV rinses are also good for clarifying), but you shouldn’t shampoo often. I shampoo once a month. Cowash 1-2x a week.
