Usher and Tameka don’t get along for the sake of their kids
Usually when completely mismatched couples get together, the fake excitement and passion that they feel for one another is fueled by a brain chemical called Dopamine — not to be confused with eternal love.
This chemical helps to remove the hesitancy, uncertainty and doubts that one might feel so that they can quickly get to the matter at hand — hot, passionate, sticky sex in order to populate the earth.
The street drugs cocaine and Ecstasy work in much the same way.
So once that Dopamine stops leaking in their brains, some normalcy is restored and these couples are often left wondering what the heck they saw in each other in the first place.
That’s the dilemma that R&B crooner Usher Raymond and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster, faced before they got divorced. To complicate matters even further: they have two sons together.
Now word is spreading around the industry that Usher and Tameka are no longer on speaking terms with each other. They say that if Usher wants to communicate with Tameka he sends word through a liaison.
I also heard that Usher has much more than joint custody of his kids, and that the children are with him more than they are with Tameka. But, according to gossip website TMZ.com, that information appears to be inaccurate — Usher and Tameka still share joint custody of their boys, but now Tameka wants a judge to strip Usher of his parental rights because he closed her Saks Fifth Avenue card.

According to the docs, Tameka claims Usher has repeatedly FAILED to obtain her permission to travel outside the state with the kids … which he’s legally obligated to do.
But there’s more … a lot more.
Tameka also claims Usher is required and has failed to:
– get her approval before hiring nannies
– give her first shot to watch the kids when he’s away for more than 8 hours
– allow her to take the kids for 2-weeks in the summer of 2011
– let her have custody of the kids during Christmas break 2010Tameka also claims Usher closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card — which he specifically said he wouldn’t do — and now she can no longer take advantage of the “special benefits” the card offers.
According to the docs, Usher also promised to pay $5k per month so Tameka could hire her own nanny for the kids — but he hasn’t paid in months, and now owes $34,000 worth of payments.
TMZ also reports that Tameka is filing for an increase in her child support due to the fact that there has been a “substantial change in [Usher's] income” since they were divorced — and she wants her cut.

It’s sad that women like this seem to have no respect for themselves. Seriously, by the looks of Hollywood (white and black), it looks like these men out here might as well just wife up prostitutes the way they are gaming these rich men.

On another site, someone wrote in to spill the tea that it is actually Usher who wants the kids and it is Grace (the old lady that he is banging at the moment) who told that she is tired of him paying child support and he should take the kids away from Tameka. What if something happens to you, if you don’t where you kids are then how can you get in contact with them? It is common courtesy, I may not need a itinerary , but simply let me know you go be in Hollywood for a week staying at the Ritz would be nice.

Thats not what I said… I said he dont need her PERMISSION. As a parent he should tell her where he and the kids are but he shouldnt be asking for her permission to do it. That was all I was saying.
I think both should seek permission for out of country travel. While it is good to expose kids to foreign travel, why not give the other parent the option to keep the child if it is work related? Not saying Usher would do it (he can’t since he’s Usher), but too many parents dip out and never come back when they go to a foreign country. This one guy was in the military, when he came back his wife dipped out to Japan (where she from) and now Japan won’t help him get his kids back.

I understand what your saying totally but thats kind of a different situation…. Im quite sure Usher has been out of the country with the kids many times since the divorce. And all of a sudden now its an issue? I think its more about her getting more money than all of a sudden wanted to be asked what the kids are doing. I knew a dude that was in the Army that use to beat the breaks off his wife and his Turkish wife left him and took the kids back to Turkey… Every situation is different.
in his case with all of the traveling, i’m surprised they didn’t put this in writing. i think you MUST have permission already to go out of the country because i saw some people trying to get on a cruise and the cruise ship would not let them on because they didn’t have the other parent’s permission.
traveling out of the state is what he probably does quite often and, to get her permission, means she would probably interrupt his business. i can’t see her just agreeing all the time. the fact that she wants to see the kids if he’s gone for 8 hours sounds like this broad is a bit much.
most of the custody agreements split holidays and summer weeks so either he is not adhering to the agreement or she is asking for something over and above the agreement. if the former, he is in BIG trouble.

In the case of celebrity long money, the judge uses discretion to determine the amount of support. It’s not locked to a percentage of someone’s income.
You have to have written notarized permission from the non-custodial parent to take children out of the country. That is the law. State to state travel would have to be negotiated in the custody agreement.
