Superstar actor Will Smith opened up about the bizarre incident that occurred during the Moscow, Russia premiere of his film MIB 3.

Will was enraged when a male reporter who is known for pulling pranks on celebrities attempted to kiss him on the lips.

“It was just awkward,” Smith explained to David Letterman during a guest appearance on the Late Show Tuesday. (See video below the break)

“He says, ‘I’m you’re biggest fan, can I have a hug?'” Smith recalled. “So I go to give this joker a hug, and he tries to lean in and kiss me!”

Smith said the reporter’s team later reached out to his camp to offer an apology. “They were like, ‘Oh, no, we’re sorry, you know. It’s just his shtick, you know.'”

Smith should have been warned by the organizers of the event who certainly knew that the reporter was an attention whore.
