According to TMZ, Paul Ryan's college girlfriend -- who happens to be black -- wants nothing to do with him or the Romney/Ryan campaign for president.

Even though they parted amicably, Deneeta Pope told TMZ she does not want to "become an issue in the election."

Pope said, "I'm not interested in talking. I don't know why everyone is calling. I'm newly married and would just like to be left alone."

She doesn't know why everyone is calling? That sounds like something the Obama campaign would want her to say.

The music industry is mourning the death of well-respected music executive Chris Lighty, 44, who shot himself to death following an argument with his ex-wife, Veronica, Thursday morning.

Social networking websites and Facebook are awash with tributes and accolades from friends who were moved to tears by the untimely death of a man who brokered some of the biggest deals in music history.

According to published reports, police responded to Lighty's posh 5-level red brick townhouse in the upscale South Riverdale area of the Bronx about 11:30 a.m. They found Lighty in his backyard lying face up with a 9mm handgun near his body.

Lighty was one of the most influential men in the music industry. From his humble beginnings carrying crates full of records for the DJ Red Alert, he went on to manage the careers of some of the music industry's biggest and brightest stars including Mariah Carey, LL Cool J, Missy Elliott, Sean Combs, 50 Cent, A Tribe Called Quest, and Diggy Simmons.

On the show Friday, Stephanopoulos described Lucimarian as "a woman filled with so much joy."

Celebrity stylist Tameka Foster-Raymond's legal team filed a motion for a new trial today in Fulton County court, according to my confidential source who obtained the court documents.

The court documents contain pretty damaging evidence that may (or may not) prove corruption at the state judicial level. Foster's legal team has uncovered evidence that shows Usher Raymond's attorney John Mayoue did more than just help Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane Lane raise funds for her campaign re-election.

Last week, Foster-Raymond lost primary custody of her two sons, ages 4 and 3, to her ex-husband, Usher Raymond. Foster-Raymond is seeking a new trial on the grounds that Usher's legal team may have had an unfair advantage over hers.

The motion filed by Foster-Raymond today officially stays the judge's order. Which means Tameka retains primary custody of the children until the motion is allowed or dismissed.

Newlyweds Meagan Good and Devon Franklin attended the premiere of 'You, Me & The Circus' at SupperClub in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Not many skeptics give this couple a chance at a longterm marriage, but as long as Meagan and Devon remember to respect each other after the dopamine fades, they should be okay. Other celebs attending the premire includes Keisha and Omar Epps, Cory Hardrict, Melyssa Ford, Brandy Norwwod, and more.

On Tuesday, troubled singer Chris Brown tweeted this pic of himself wearing a skirt and leggings on his Twitter page. The androgynous photo left Brown's fans confused about the message he is sending them.

Brown has been the subject of gay rumors almost from the moment he burst on the scene as a teenage phenom. One rumor has it that Brown beat Rihanna to a pulp in 2009 because she threatened to go public with the truth about his gay trysts with men.

But, according to my well-connected source, the 23-year-old singer is not gay. "He's all man," said my source.

Kardashian, who is still married to her last victim, Kris Humphries, often demands exorbitantly priced engagement rings from suckers within weeks of ensnaring them in her traps. This is typical behavior of women with borderline personalities.

Mayor Kasim Reed's special events director has resigned less than a week after her arrest on DUI and reckless driving charges, The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

Stacii Jae Johnson, 41, was arrested late Thursday by an Atlanta police officer who saw her driving her white Porsche at 82 mph in a 55 mph zone on I-85 near the I-75 split.

Johnson was reportedly uncooperative and refused a field sobriety test, according to a police report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

She was responsible for a small staff of about six people in the mayor's office of special events. The office processed permits for outdoor music festivals and locations for movie shoots, according to The AJC.

There's no word on whether the mayor is taking applications for a new special events director.

A reader emailed to express her disgust at singer Jennifer Hudson for allowing her sister to appear on Oprah's Next Chapter. The segment of Oprah's Next Chapter was taped at Jennifer's home, and will air on Sept. 9.

Maybe Julia has not completed the grieving process for her son, and maybe she wanted to appear on camera as herself (a grieving mom) rather than a fake, Hollywood image of herself?

Over 20,000 people are expected to attend Muslim prayers before the start of the Democratic National Convention on Friday in Charlotte, NC.

Jibril Hough, a spokesman for the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), said Friday's prayers are to hold the political parties accountable, and to "anesthetize" Americans who harbor anti-Islamic opinions.

There is no word on if President Obama -- who was raised Muslim -- will speak at the prayer meeting which will "target the Patriot Act, the NYPD, the National Defense Authorization Act, and anti-Shariah sentiment," according to The Blaze.

The Blaze points out that a request by a Catholic Cardinal to say a prayer at the 2012 Democratic National Convention was denied. But the DNC is partnering with the Bureau of Muslim Affairs for Friday's 2-hour Muslim prayer event.
