An off-duty Chicago motorcycle cop is under investigation after he shot and killed an angry dad after hitting the man's daughter with his motorcycle.

According to the NY Daily News, the officer "ditched" his motorcycle when he saw Taniyah Middleton run into his path. But the motorcycle slid into the 4-year-old and her 18-year-old cousin John Passley, who had rushed to help her.

Taniyah's father, Christopher Middleton, ran out of a nearby restaurant to help his daughter. Witnesses told the Chicago Sun-Times that Middleton was "visibly upset" when he saw Taniyah's bloody face. Witnesses say that when the 34-year-old, eight-year police veteran identified himself as a cop, Middleton punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Miami Dolphins coach sacked troubled NFL star Chad Johnson less than 24 hours after he was arrested for assaulting his wife, Evelyn Lozada.

Head coach Joe Philbin previously warned the arrogant wide receiver about his behavior after Johnson dropped multiple F-bombs during a media interview at the Dolphins training camp. During that same interview with HBO, Johnson, 34, said he would be arrested soon.

On Tuesday, Lozada, 42, filed in Miami to dissolve her 40-day marriage to Johnson -- though no marriage certificate is on public file in Miami.

In his first public statement since his arrest, Johnson said he loved Lozada to death. Both Johnson and Lozada have serious issues that should be resolved in private. Hopefully we won't see either of them on television again.

I hate to say I told you so... According to published reports, Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce from troubled NFL star Chad Johnson. Lozada and Johnson tied the knot on July 4 in St. Martin.

It was obvious from the start that Lozada would find a way to end the fraudulent marriage to Johnson. Most women marry for love. Evelyn Lozada married for fame and money.

Whether Johnson, 34, was in on the scheme to defraud the public is unknown. There is the possibility that Lozada, 42, fooled Johnson -- just like she fooled the public -- before her scheming literally blew up in her face.

Karma is real.
