Hurricane Sandra is shaping up to be the biggest storm to hit the eastern seaboard of the United States in 100 years. That’s not good news to residents living in the flood-prone Tri-state areas — directly in the storm’s path.

Dubbed “Superstorm” by the media and “Frankenstorm” by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Hurricane Sandy cut a swathe of destruction across Haiti, Jamaica and Cuba, leaving 28 people dead and many injured.

When Hurricane Irene threatened the East coast last year, NY Mayor Bloomberg released a map of flood zones based on hurricane category severity. The Lower East Side, Coney Island, Upper East Side and Staten Island are all at risk for serious flooding.

R&B singer Chris Brown showed up at the 50th birthday party for Elton John’s husband without on-again girlfriend Rihanna or his mistress Karrueche. Brown, 23, was seen arriving in a leased $750,000 Lamborghini at the party for Elton John’s husband, David Furnish at the Belasco Theatre in Downtown, Los Angeles, Thursday night. If you recall, Brown was driving a similar leased Lamborghini the night he pummeled Rihanna into submission in 2009.

  • Last month, 18-year-old rapper Lil Jojo, real name Joseph Coleman, was shot and killed as he rode his bicycle on the South side of Chicago.

The next day, another little known Chicago rapper named “Chief Keef” took to his Twitter page to mock the slain rapper’s passing.

“It’s sad cus Jojo wanted to be just like us #LMAO” he wrote in a tweet.

Police say Lil Jojo (pictured left) was linked to the Gangster Disciples street gang, which put him in the crosshairs of Chief Keef and his gang.

Lil Jojo’s death was believed to be the culmination of a running dispute between Coleman, Chief Keef and a gang banger/rapper named Lil Reese (pictured above).
