Ryan Rotellas and Deandre Poole

Florida Atlantic University officials have reversed their decision to suspend a student who objected to a highly offensive classroom assignment, WPTV reports.

Florida Governor Rick Scott has demanded a detailed investigation into the activities of professor Deandre Poole, right, who instructed his class to write the name “Jesus” on a piece of paper, place it on the floor and stomp on it.

Serge Ibamka and Keri Hilson

It’s never too late for Morning Wood.

Twitter was all abuzz over a photo purporting to show NBA star Serge Ibaka’s ‘package’. As you know, Serge and singer/songwriter Keri Hilson are an item. Keri has plenty of time to follow Serge’s team bus around the country since her career has been put on ice by Beyonce.

She must be beaming with pride over the fact that women on social networking sites are debating over what her man is working with. (There is no such debate over Beyonce’s husband, Jay Z.)

I really don’t see anything in the photo but some wind blown material, but thirsty women (and the gays) who know what to look for say they see it in all its glory.

See what all the fuss is about after the break.

Cast of Married to Medicine

Nearly 2 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere of Bravo Network’s new reality series, Married to Medicine on Sunday night.

The series, based in Atlanta, explores the lives of pampered doctors’ wives and 2 black female doctors who run their own thriving medical practices. The show veers away from the usual mundane scripted farce that other reality shows offer.

Unlike the original cast members of Real Housewives of Atlanta who ended up losing their homes, the well-to-do couples in M2M own their fabulous homes outright. And, unlike other reality shows, the doctors have real patients and they practice real procedures.

Porsha and Kordell Stewart

It’s hard to tell what’s real when it comes to fake reality shows these days.

With so many tiresome and boring reality shows crowding the television landscape, producers struggle to come up with unique ways to keep viewers tuned in. It is not unusual for reality show stars to involve the courts — and even the police — who unwittingly provide drama to boost TV ratings.

Lawsuits are often filed, but after the season ends, the lawsuits are quietly withdrawn; or the legal paperwork is filed incorrectly so the case is tossed out on technicalities.

Ashanti Never Should Have

R&B singer Ashanti reminisces about love gone wrong in this latest single off her upcoming album, Braveheart. Ashanti is all too familiar with heartbreak and being the innocent victim of a smooth criminal who never loved her in the first place. The 32-year-old “Foolish” singer spent several years of her life in an unfulfilling relationship with rapper Nelly, who considered himself single throughout their relationships. All the red flags were there that the relationship would end badly, but Ashanti — like most needy women — ignored the signs.

Brandy and Beyonce R&B singer Brandy, who hasn’t had a hit record in years, opened up about her new role in Tyler Perry’s movie, ‘Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.’

The 34-year-old mother-of-one also gave her opinion on Beyonce’s controversial single “Bow Down (B*tches)” which struck a negative chord with Beyonce’s Stans and music critics alike.

In an interview with theGrio’s Chris Witherspoon, Brandy said Beyonce should be given the artistic freedom to express herself in her lyrics, even if her lyrics make her look ignorant.

“I think art is freedom. You should be able to express yourself the way you choose to express yourself. Of course people are gonna have their own opinion, but opinion is opinion. I think art should be expressed the way it should,” she said.

But when asked if she liked the song, Brandy agreed with the majority consensus that the song was garbage.

“I don’t love the song. I just have to be honest. You know,” she said.
