Rap mogul Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce Knowles-Carter attended a rally for slain Miami teenager Trayvon Martin in NYC on Saturday, July 20. Thousands of people participated in 100 marches around the country, including several rallies held here in Atlanta. The demonstrators protested the acquittal of neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in Florida. The demonstrators called for an end to the nation’s controversial Stand Your Ground laws and a federal investigation to determine if Zimmerman violated Martin’s civil rights.

Ok, I have this old friend. He and I used to date before my son’s father got back together and married. We were good friends long before we decided to date so we still keep in touch from time to time and it’s on a platonic level; at least that’s what I thought. Not long ago he told me he had a dream about me so he had to check up on me and how was myself and the family. I told him we were doing well and asked what was the dream about. He said he didn’t “want” to tell me because we were both married, (which led me to believe that it was on a sexual level.) in which I jokingly replied if he didn’t want to tell me he wouldn’t have mentioned he had a dream about me in the first place. Then he told me, and it was exactly what I suspected. Here’s the thing, he’s mentioned a few times before about relations we’ve had, not in a graphic sense, but just the mere mention of it has gotten me feeling kind of suspect about what’s going through his head. He’s even told me that after he and his wife got married all the “freaky stuff” ended and he’s unsatisfied because he doesn’t get it as much anymore. I tried to pass him a little advice as to what to do with me being married and communication and then quickly changed the subject. What I want to know is, is this man showing ways in regrets of his marriage (they got married after she got pregnant) and trying to send messages to me or is he just blowing smoke? I’m confused.

Hubby says I shouldn’t be that mad, I got my money let it go. I was SEETHING. I am gone call corporate today.
