Oh, you thought studio singer Beyonce purchased her own designer shoes? Well you thought wrong. Beyonce can’t be bothered doing such mundane things such as trying on shoes and waiting in line to purchase anything other than Viagra (for her husband).

Ty Hunter, the man responsible for buying Beyonce’s shoes, sat down for a brief interview with Elle magazine recently.

Ty dished on the brands Beyonce prefers (“Versace, Stuart Weitzman, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Tom Ford”); her maximum heel height (“Nothing over 3 1/2 inches”); and the one thing her fans would be surprised to know about Beyonce.

ELLE: How much does Beyoncé’s performance weigh into the shoe choices you select for the tour?
TH: “As far as stage shoes, comfort-ability plays a major role because she has to dance.”

ELLE: Are there any brands you tend to gravitate towards?
TH: “Stuart Weitzman, Giuseppe Zanotti, and Tom Ford.”

ELLE: What’s the one shoe every woman should have in her closet?
TH: “A simple black pump. Because you can dress it up or down. It’s a staple to any woman’s wardrobe.”

ELLE: What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about shopping with Beyoncé?
TH: “The one thing people would be surprised to know is that we have fun. We joke around a lot. It’s like being a kid in a candy store because we love fashion. Shopping is also very therapeutic for us as a team. Raquel and I have a lot of fun when we’re out at stores.”
