Up-and-coming Hip-Hop artist Chance The Rapper was forced to cancel a NYC charity performance after he was hospitalized Monday with pneumonia.
According to Billboard magazine the 23-year-old Chicago rapper was scheduled to perform Monday night at New York's Terminal 5 for a charity event hosted by the Robin Hood organization to raise money to fight poverty. Ticket prices ranged from $150-$250.
The sickly rapper also canceled an appearance at the Coachella Music Festival in 2014 after he was rushed to a hospital with flu-like symptoms and tonsillitis.
Chance, whose real name is Chancellor Bennett, has never admitted to being gay, though he drops subtle references to his sexual orientation in his lyrics.
Chance's much-anticipated mixtape, Chance 3, is set to drop this week.
