Cam Newton is demanding a DNA test from his ex-girlfriend, Kia Proctor, who gave birth to their youngest child after they separated six months ago.
According to Bossip.com, Newton, 30, sued Proctor, 31, for paternity, joint custody and visitation of their four children, Chosen 5, Sovereign-Dior, 3, Camida, 2, and Cashmere Saint, 3 months.
Newton also fathered a child with former Miss Azerbaijan La Reina Shaw, 33, while cohabiting with Proctor and their children.
According to court papers obtained by Bossip, Newton demanded a DNA test from Proctor for their youngest child, who was born in September, and has never lived with the Carolina Panthers quarterback.
Newton acknowledged that he signed his children’s birth certificates and he is voluntarily paying child support but he wants the court to determine a set dollar amount for child support and he wants to be legally confirmed as the father of the youngest child.
Proctor countersued Newton for full physical custody, child support, health benefits, life insurance and legal fees.
Proctor, a former stripper and Instagram model, says she hasn’t held down a job in six years and she has no other sources of income.
She noted Newton’s guaranteed salary of $60 million out of a $104 million contract, She said Newton also has endorsement deals that she wants a cut of.
Additionally, Newton owns multiple businesses in Georgia and elsewhere. Proctor said she is willing to negotiate a financial deal with Newton that will ensure she is set for life.
She asked the judge to force Newton to hand over $15,000 so she can hire a forensic analyst to scour Newton’s financials to determine an appropriate amount for child support.
She also wants the court to enforce a settlement agreement they made before their youngest child was born in September.
She said she moved out of Newton’s Atlanta home and moved with their children to her native Maryland.
Newton now lives with Shaw and their infant in Atlanta.
