Family members of a slain Dallas woman are angry that the Dallas police didn't do enough to save her after she called 911 two days earlier to report her ex-husband was attacking her.

Deanna Cook-Patrick, 32, was found dead in her bathtub on Sunday after family members kicked in her front door.

Police say Cook called 911 from her cell phone, delaying the response time by 9 minutes. Once Cook's address was established, the dispatcher did not inform the officers in the field that Cook was under attack -- even though her screams could be heard during the 11-minute 911 call. Police knocked on Cook's door but left when there was no response.

"In my personal opinion, I don't think they cared enough. I think they had already given up. Seen it was useless and didn't think it was worth their time or effort," the victim's sister, Valecia Battle, told Fox News.

Police arrested Cook's ex-husband, Delvecchio Patrick, and charged him with murder. He is being held on $500,000 bail.

Miami Dolphins coach sacked troubled NFL star Chad Johnson less than 24 hours after he was arrested for assaulting his wife, Evelyn Lozada.

Head coach Joe Philbin previously warned the arrogant wide receiver about his behavior after Johnson dropped multiple F-bombs during a media interview at the Dolphins training camp. During that same interview with HBO, Johnson, 34, said he would be arrested soon.

On Tuesday, Lozada, 42, filed in Miami to dissolve her 40-day marriage to Johnson -- though no marriage certificate is on public file in Miami.

In his first public statement since his arrest, Johnson said he loved Lozada to death. Both Johnson and Lozada have serious issues that should be resolved in private. Hopefully we won't see either of them on television again.

C-list reality TV star Evelyn Lozada, 42, finally spoke out on the publicity stunt that literally blew up in her face. After lying to the public for 2 years about her fake relationship and marriage to troubled NFL star Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, 34, Lozada wants the public to believe her side of the story.

Evelyn tells TMZ, “I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me."

Lozada and Johnson supposedly fought in their car outside their Davie, Florida home Saturday night. A neighbor who called 911 said Johnson "hit" Lozada in the face, resulting in a linear 3-inch gash on her forehead which is not consistent with a head butt. That's the problem when dealing with reality show actors -- it's very difficult to believe anything that comes out of their mouths.

Johnson, 32, was pictured bonding out of Broward County jail Sunday morning after paying $2,500 bail. Also on Sunday Johnson learned that he was cut from the Miami Dolphins (not that he cares).

The news comes just one month after the couple's much-hyped "wedding" in Florida, and just 2 weeks before the premiere of their reality show. These coincidences led to speculation that the couple had pulled a publicity stunt to promote their reality show.

During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that aired Wednesday night, murder suspect George Zimmerman said he didn't regret shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin because he believed “it was all God’s plan.”

Trayvon's father responded to Zimmerman's statement, saying: "We must worship a different Dod because no way that MY God would have wanted George Zimmerman to kill my son."

Zimmerman, who is charged with 2nd degree murder, later backtracked, saying “I do wish there was something, anything I could have done that would have put me in the position where I didn’t have to take his life. And I do want to tell everyone…that I’m sorry that this happened.”

Earlier today, Zimmerman, 28, re-launched his personal website to beg the public for donations -- despite the fact that his attorney, Mark O'Mara, has a fund set up to collect money for GZ's legal costs.

Apparently Zimmerman wants to snatch control of the public donations away from his attorney.

Remember Brandon White, the effeminate, skinny jeans-wearing Atlanta man who was assaulted by a gang of thugs on Feb. 4? The 3 gang members who brutally beat White, and videotaped their actions, were slapped with 5-year prison sentences on Friday. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jackson Bedford also sentenced the thugs to 5 years probation each.

The crime made headlines worldwide because of the media attention on anti-gay bullying. (White, 20, is an out and proud gay man.)

But in a strange twist, several local gay activists wrote a letter to the judge asking for leniency for the 3 men.

Project Q Atlanta published the letter which was signed by local politician, state Rep. Simone Bell, who is an out and proud lesbian. Ms. Bell asked the judge to release the convicted men on probation -- so two of them could finish high school.
