How ironic is it that a gay man is featured on the cover of a magazine called Snatch? As you know, the word "snatch" is a slang term for a woman's intimate parts -- which we now know Frank wants no part of.

Ocean, 24, became something of a cause célebre among the LGBT community when he came out to his fans and the world just days before the release of his new album, Channel Orange. Many within the LGBT and music communities reached out publicly and privately to the effeminate singer to show their support.

But others are not so supportive.

  • There are two things that should never be discussed at the dinner table: politics and gay marriage. NBC's scripted series The New Normal covers all of that and more.

In Tuesday's episode (which we can argue is nothing but a campaign vehicle for Obama), Bryan (Andrew Rannells) and David (Justin Bartha) threw a dinner party to prove to Nana (Ellen Barkin) that they have black friends. The idea for the dinner came up after Nana (whose family has always voted Republican) accused Bryan and David of being racist because they voted for Obama. Her reasoning was the gay couple voted for Obama because he was black, hence, they must be racist.

A Nashville drag queen who was convicted of felony theft in 2011 is suing for $20 million dollars after prison officials sent him to two women's prisons. Carla Brenner, who was born a man but dresses in women's clothing, claims he was sexually assaulted in the showers by female prisoners when they discovered he had male genitalia.

"The big hair, the makeup, I am an entertainer -- a drag queen," said Brenner. "That basically means a man who enjoys dressing as a woman. It's not a woman. I have no intention on being a woman... never, ever have."

Bad girl Rihanna couldn't resist kissing a hot female on the lips outside her London hotel earlier today. Rihanna kissed the fan smack on the lips as her screaming fans looked on. Meanwhile, Rihanna's labelmate, singer Rita Ora, was on the other side of London busy promoting her new album Ora.

But Rita is certainly wondering what was going through Rihanna's mind when she went on a secret rendezvous with Rita's alleged boyfriend, Rob Kardashian. Rihanna and Rob were spotted riding go karts together in Burbank, California over the weekend -- and later, Rob tweeted a photo of his name tatted on Rihanna's back.

A few parents fell out in the theater this past weekend when a gay character "came out" in the new children's film ParaNorman. One mom emailed me to get my readers thoughts on the movie industry introducing homosexuality into children's films.

The movie's producers hope to create a dialog about same sex relationships between parents and their small children after viewing ParaNorman. My opinion is that small children, 5-7 years old, have no clue what their parents are talking about when they attempt to explain 2 boys getting it on. It makes no sense to me why grown folks continue to force adult sexual situations onto small children.

Just weeks after coming out of the closet, Anderson Cooper's boyfriend was caught kissing another man. The popular CNN anchor kicked open his closet door just days after singer/songwriter blazed the trail by coming out on his Tumblr page.

Anderson must be devastated. But gay male relationships are known to be the most unstable because men were born to cheat (in my opinion). If you think it's hard to keep your man from straying in heterosexual relationships, imagine being a gay male and expecting your man not to be turned on by other hawt men.

Forcible rape of men outside of prison walls is a growing crime trend in the US.

According to published reports, DaJuan Porter, 27, allegedly met men at nightclubs and followed them home, whereupon he broke into the homes and performed oral sex on the men while they slept.

Porter seems to have a problem keeping his mouth off men's private parts unless invited to partake. He was arrested for similar crimes before. Last year, he was charged in Worcester County, Maryland, for sexually assaulting his sleeping cell mate in jail.

I blame Hip Hop for this. Yes, that's a female thug being hauled into a NY police station after she was arrested for a NY subway stabbing that left one man injured.

According to Splash News, police arrested a pack of drunken young female thugs on the downtown No. 6 train after they stabbed a 63-year-old man who had the nerve to ask them to keep their noise down, police said. The man was on his way to work as a vendor near the World Trade Center at about 6:15 a.m., a law-enforcement source told The New York Post.

Certain undercover gays choose to stay in the warm comforts of their closets until they are forced out. That seems to be the case with Jennifer Lopez's dancer/boyfriend, Casper Smart.

Last week, Casper was famously photographed going into a gay peep show above a sex toy shop in a seedy neighborhood in NYC. According to a drag queen who frequents the peep show to turn tricks, men go up to the 2nd floor where they discreetly insert their manhoods into holes in the wall to be "serviced" by other males.

According to the drag queen, a tongue is a tongue, and men can't tell the difference between a female tongue and a male one.

A recent development has put a new twist on the Usher and Maxwell teh ghey rumors. As you know, crooners Usher and Maxwell have been the subjects of gay rumors for years.

It is reported that La La samples from both gender entrées, and that she only got married so her strictly religious family wouldn't find out about her extracurricular activities. That was a smart move. It would disappoint her mom if she ever found out.

Remember Brandon White, the effeminate, skinny jeans-wearing Atlanta man who was assaulted by a gang of thugs on Feb. 4? The 3 gang members who brutally beat White, and videotaped their actions, were slapped with 5-year prison sentences on Friday. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jackson Bedford also sentenced the thugs to 5 years probation each.

According to the AJC, a fourth suspect, Javaris Bradford, 24, who allegedly videotaped the beating, is still on the lam.

The crime made headlines worldwide because of the media attention on anti-gay bullying. (White, 20, is an out and proud gay man.)

But in a strange twist, several local gay activists wrote a letter to the judge asking for leniency for the 3 men.

Project Q Atlanta published the letter which was signed by local politician, state Rep. Simone Bell, who is an out and proud lesbian. Ms. Bell asked the judge to release the convicted men on probation -- so two of them could finish high school.

Coming out was the best thing Frank Ocean could have done for his unremarkable career. Ocean, a member of the eclectic Odd Future collective, announced his homosexuality in a dramatic posting on his Tumblr page last week -- just in time for the release of his album Channel Orange.

According to industry estimates, 'Orange' is on pace to sell 125-135k in its first week based on retail pre-orders. The estimates far exceeds the 40-50k units that were originally predicted.

Ocean is on pace to sell more albums next week than troubled singer Chris Brown whose heavily promoted studio album Fortune undersold all industry expectations.

Odd Future singer/songwriter Frank Ocean made a powerful statement of courage and when he came flying out of the closet earlier this week. The 24-year-old music producer -- who is responsible for Beyonce's hit song "I Miss You" -- wrote a long, poignant letter on his Tumblr page describing his unrequited love for another man.

Some industry insiders believe Frank Ocean was struggling with his affections for fellow producer Kanye West. It's worth noting that the industry has rallied together with unflinching support for Ocean, but Kanye, who is Ocean's mentor, is surprisingly quiet.

A former high school and collegiate basketball star-turned-coach was arrested and charged with having sex with the girls she coaches.

Marquita Adley (pictured), was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with three counts of sexual battery by a custodian on a victim under 18 years of age.

Adley was released on $15,000 bond after spending the night in jail. The West Broward High School girls basketball interim coach is accused of fondling a 16-year-old girl and committing other sex acts on her between April and June at the girl’s house, a teammate’s house and during a road trip.

The girl told police that she engaged in consensual sex with the coach. She said that she did not ask Adley to stop or push her away. But in Florida a 16-year-old can't consent to sex with an adult.

The last time Odd Future singer Frank Ocean made headlines was last Summer when Chris Brown's cousins chased him down and challenged him to "take the fade."

Although Ocean, 24, kept driving, he showed the same courage yesterday as he did with Brown's juvenile cousins in 2011.

Ocean (pictured above left with Jay Z) officially came out of the closet on Wednesday with an emotional, almost poetic post on his Tumblr page.

Ocean wrote: "4 summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Everyday almost. And on the days we were together, time would glide."

Ocean also wrote about the nervous upheaval he felt when he confided his infatuation for his male friend, who already had a girlfriend.

"I wept as the words left my mouth. I grieved for them, knowing I could never take them back... He patted my back. He said kind things. He did his best, but he wouldn't admit the same," wrote Ocean, who assumed -- like most gays do -- that all men are gay -- but they just need a little help to see it.

In the 1990s, rumors ran rampant that a male homosexual rapper was running through other male rappers and R&B singers in the industry. Many of us speculated who the infamous "gay rapper" was. We had our ideas but nothing was ever confirmed.

Nowadays it's easier for gay rappers to live and love openly thanks to prominent gays in the media who promote gay tolerance.

On the same day that CNN anchor Anderson Cooper revealed his homosexuality, Odd Future fans learned that Frank Ocean was also gay. The clean-cut Odd Future rapper reportedly admits to loving hard legs in at least 3 songs on his new album.

Ocean is the 2nd openly gay member of the alternative collective group. Odd Future rapper Syd the Kid lives openly as a lesbian. And troubled Odd Future leader Tyler, The Creator is rumored to be down low gay.

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper finally emerged from the closet after years of hiding his lifestyle from the public.

"The fact is I'm gay," wrote CNN anchor Anderson Cooper in a poignant letter to longtime friend, Andrew Sullivan of the Daily Beast.

"I have given some the mistaken impression that I am trying to hide something - something that makes me uncomfortable, ashamed or even afraid," Anderson wrote.

"This is distressing because it is simply not true.

"The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud," he added.

Cooper follows in the footsteps of fellow CNN anchor Don Lemon, who found the courage to leave the cramped confines of his closet to embrace his fears and uncertainties.

Gay couples impulsively rushed to get hitched when New York passed the Marriage Equality Act on June 24, 2011. It wasn't the matrimony or the sanctity of marriage that they were after, for some it was the fame or the bragging rights that comes with being the first to do anything, like owning the newest iPhone.

In their haste to marry the woman of their dreams, Katie Marks and Dese’Rae Stage danced in the streets, then rushed up the steps of the courthouse to say "I do."

Katie wearing a magenta dress and Des dressed in skinny jeans and pink Chuck Taylors joined 23 other couples at the Pop Up Chapel, a one-day wedding event in Central Park, according to TheAtlanticwire.com.

By January, the newness of marriage had worn off, and a stark reality had set in: they really weren't made for each other after all. By March, Katie moved in with her new lover, a woman she met on Instagram. Now Katie and Des are among the first gay couples -- if not the first -- to get a divorce in NY.

"I'm trying to find the most loving way to get us through this practically," Des told a reporter, "but I do believe we never should have been anything more than friends."

According to the NY Post's Page Six, singer Rihanna abruptly cancelled her move to London -- along with all her television commitments there. The only logical explanation for canceling her planned move to London (based on what I've been told) is her rumored love interest, singer/rapper M.I.A., was signed by Roc Nation -- the same label Rihanna is signed to -- and now M.I.A. plans to move back to America from London.

Rihanna even tweeted "Welcome home MIA" on her Twitter account in late May.

As you know, Rihanna was spending a considerable amount of time in London visiting with the 37-year-old M.I.A. Now that M.I.A. is signed to the same label as Rihanna, M.I.A. is returning to the U.S. -- where she lived until her divorce from Ben Bronfman.

The British-born singer of Sri Lankan descent gained fame with her hit single "Paper Planes" in 2007.

JC Penney has launched a Father's Day ad featuring a same-sex gay couple and their two children. The ad copy reads: “real-life dads Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their children, Claire and Mason.”

The gay marriage-friendly campaign comes on the heels of President Obama's endorsement of same-sex marriage earlier this month -- a move some critics believe was politically motivated.

A week after Obama's surprise announcement, the national media went into overdrive promoting same-sex marriage in all platforms. Some media outlets announced recent polls showing support for gay marriage steadily increasingly among the black community.

But the fact remains that in the 32 states where same-sex marriage is banned by law, blacks were the major contributing factor against gay marriage.

Blacks who fear that the traditional family is under attack in America believe that children need both a mother and a father.

Despite the misleading headlines proclaiming black support for gay marriage is evolving, a St. Paul church is on the brink of closing after losing more than half of its congregation when their pastor announced his support of gay marriage.
