Singer Rihanna spent a busy weekend in NYC, where she celebrated her grandmother Dolly’s birthday. The 23-year-old Bajan superstar was spotted at JFK airport signing autographs on anything her fans handed her. I don’t blame them. If I saw Rihanna, I would ask her to sign a McDonald’s paper bag if I had to. We don’t know how much longer she will be with us (God forbid). Her autograph might be worth something later on. Please continue to keep Rihanna in your prayers.
Kirk Cameron calls homosexuality ‘unnatural’; CNN’s Piers Morgan says Kirk has the right to his opinion
Former child star Kirk Cameron has once again riled gay advocacy groups with his controversial statements on gay marriage and homosexuality.
Appearing on CNN’s Piers Morgan talk show on Friday, the 41-year-old former ‘Growing Pains‘ star said homosexuality was “unnatural” and “detrimental” to society.
“I think that it’s detrimental and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization,” Cameron told Morgan.
Cameron, who is an Evangelical Christian, also defended the institution of marriage:
“Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don’t think anyone else should either,” Cameron said. “So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don’t.” Source
Opinions are protected by the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. Whether gays like it or not, Cameron’s opinions on homosexuality are his opinions and he has the right to express them — according to Morgan.
Morgan called Cameron “brave” and “honest” when he was interviewed by celebrity gossip website TMZ.com, over the weekend.
Amber and Wiz Engaged; is it Love or Dopamine?
After months of rumors that rapper Wiz Khalifa, 24, and media personality Amber Rose, 28, were engaged, Wiz finally popped the question — and fittingly, he made the announcement on his Twitter page. All together now: Awww. Wiz Khalifa proposed to girlfriend Amber Rose mere hours ago, and according to @RealWizKhalifa’s Twitter, she said yes! While we don’t know many details of the proposal just yet, Wiz posted an Instagram pic of the engagement ring, and to put it lightly, we are BLOWN AWAY. First off, good job Wiz! This rock is basically as classy as it gets. Amber is sporting a 4-prong oval diamond sparkler on her light-pink stiletto-tipped fingers with a rose gold band. (Oh, HA, we get it. Rose gold for Amber Rose. Nice touch, Wiz.) We think this is the perfect ring for Amber’s all-out glam style—even when she dresses down she’s got the best beauty game to boot. Now it’s only a matter of time before the wedding deets start slipping out. We can’t wait to see what she wears on her wedding day!
Twitter FAIL: Tyga goes awf
Rapper Tyga’s name is synonymous with gay. Whenever someone mentions “gay rapper,” Tyga’s name often jumps to the forefront of the discussion.
If you recall, Tyga was the rapper sitting with Chris Brown in the Bentley outside a Miami nightclub, when the singer snatched a fan’s cell phone for captured incriminating evidence of the two men.
So it seems odd that Tyga would hurl anti-gay slurs on his Twitter page after another gossip blog outed him… again. Expect to see a statement soon from angry gay groups demanding an apology or retraction from Mr. Tyga.
Crime: 3rd suspect in videotaped gay beating in custody
Dareal Damare Williams skipped town when he heard he was wanted for that brutal beating of a gay man that was captured on video. But the long arms of the law found the 17-year-old thug hiding out in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he had relatives.
According to the Atlanta Journal, Williams turned himself in to Erie, Pa., authorities around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, without incident. Federal agents had identified him with the help of tips from the public. The feds tracked Williams to Pennsylvania where they issued an all-points alert Wednesday.
Williams is the last of three suspects to be arrested for the Feb. 4 assault of 20-year-old Brandon White outside a grocery in southwest Atlanta. White drew the men’s wrath for wearing skinny jeans, a popular fashion trend among young males, gay and straight.
Williams is being held on $250,000 bond at the Erie County Prison while he awaits extradition back to Atlanta.
According to the AJC, Mayor Kasim Reed raised an Atlanta Crime Stoppers reward several times, until the final sum reached $25,000.
Tips called in to police led to the arrests of Christopher Cain, 19, and Dorian Moragne, also 19, who turned himself in to police on Feb. 17.
Rihanna Leaves London Nightclub With Lipstick Stain On Her Neck
For the 2nd day in a row, American singer Rihanna, 24, was mobbed by the British media in London as she partied at Mahiki nightclub following the 2012 Brit Awards. What could cause the normally staid, composed British media to react to Rihanna in this way? Just 2 days ago, the “Birthday Cake” singer rode the subway, where she was virtually unrecognized just like a normal commoner.
Rihanna won the Best International Female Award at the 2012 Brit Awards held at the 02 Arena yesterday. She also performed a medley of her songs. Afterwards, Rihanna partied with a few friends, including Rob Kardashian (Khloe’s brother), who sneaked into Mahiki nightclub to party with RiRi.
Rihanna reportedly left the Mahiki nightclub with a woman’s lipstick stain on her neck. Through good detective work (and a few phone calls), we were able to match the lipstick stain on Robyn’s neck to the woman standing directly behind her in the above pic. Everyone knows RiRi is a freak. But who is this chick that was freaking on her?
All this attention Rihanna is getting could be due to the fact that she is back together with her abusive boyfriend, troubled singer Chris Brown. Maybe the British media believes Rihanna will be beaten to within an inch of her life when she returns to America — and they may never see her again?

Unreleased Nicki Minaj freestyle
Pre-Barbie footage of Nicki Minaj surfaced online over the weekend. Oddly enough, the footage shows the young Queens MC paying homage to her predecessors, Lil Kim and Foxy Brown. In the video, Minaj strolls down the streets of Queens spitting her “Dirty Money” freestyle.
This video also lends support to those who say Nicki is the butch lesbian rapper in the legendary “eat the box” clip, which you can view here.
