Even though they were both in town, troubled singers Rihanna, 25, and Chris Brown went their separate ways. Rihanna attended the LA Clippers vs LA Lakers game with friends at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, while Brown spent a quiet evening at home in Malibu with his longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran. According to sources, Brown is busy managing Karrueche’s career — and he reportedly told Rihanna to deal with it. Rihanna is so upset at Brown putting Karrueche’s needs over hers that friends say she subsists on a steady diet of alcohol and weed to calm her frayed nerves. Over the weekend, reality TV star Kim Kardashian did what pop singer Beyonce failed to do: she posted a photograph of her bare belly, thus removing all doubt that she is indeed pregnant. The baby’s father is reported to be rapper Kanye West. Kim is about 6 or 7 months pregnant. Dishonesty breeds mistrust. It was easy to accuse Kim of lying about her pregnancy because she fell pregnant so soon after Beyonce, who allegedly paid a surrogate to carry her daughter, Blue Ivy.

Wesley Snipes is a free man
Wesley Snipes was released from a Pennsylvania prison today after serving 2 years and 4 months of a 3-year federal sentence for income tax evasion.
Snipes, 50, was convicted of failing to file tax returns in 2008, but he remained free for another 2 years while appealing his conviction. After exhausting his appeals, Snipes entered McKean federal prison in December 2010 to begin serving his sentence.
Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Classic
NBA legend Michael Jordan and Diageo welcomed their friends, NBA star Chris Paul, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, comedians Flex Alexander and actor Anthony Anderson, and more to the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Classic in Las Vegas today. Guests enjoyed Don Julio 1942 and Ciroc, but the star of the weekend was Ron Zacapa 23-year-old Rum.

Halle Berry Expecting a Boy
Breaking news from gossip website TMZ.com: actress Halle Berry, 46, and her French actor fiance, Olivier Martinez, 47, are expecting a baby boy. Once again, Halle has gotten herself knocked up to try and keep a man. The fact that she’s close to 50 puts her in a high risk pregnancy category.

Pregnant singer Tamar Braxton-Herbert was seen leaving her Uptown hotel in NYC on Thursday. Tamar is in town to promote her reality TV shows and her upcoming album, Love and War, on Epic Records.

Rutgers Fires AD Tim Pernetti; FBI Investigates Eric Murdock
Rutgers has fired embattled athletic director Tim Pernetti (left), who staunchly defended men’s basketball coach Mike Rice after the coach was accused of assaulting his players. Rice was terminated as head coach of the Rutgers men’s basketball team earlier this week, after ESPN’s “Outside The Lines” aired a video showing him brutally punching and kicking his players.
The video footage was brought to the attention of university officials by former Rutgers director of player development Eric Murdock (right). Murdock’s contract was not renewed shortly after he came forward with the controversial video.
Now Murdock himself is under investigation — by the FBI.
