Another track has leaked off the much-anticipated “Recession” album by Young Jeezy. I’m anticipating this album because one of the tracks was produced by one of my favorite people in Atlanta. He is so sweet and humble – he won’t even let me give him his props!

I hate to say this, but I think these political rap songs could hut Barack when it comes time for the super delegates to make thier decision on who they want in the white house. Because if you didn’t know, the final decision is thiers no matter who gets the most votes…..

The minute I read this post I had the same thought. I would rather they say and sing nothing. Your average white person believes what they see and hear and can’t seperate that Barak is not endorsing what they do.

@ Poetry you are right about the superdelegates votes counting the most, but I disagree w/ you about the political songs hurting Obama.
Music is a form of expression. If Barack was using any of the songs as part of his promotion then we would have a cause for alarm! He is NOT using these songs in advertisements or at speeches, so I don’t see why every1 overacts when a song is made. Not you persay but the genral public. Ex. the luda song where he mentioned Hillary. Each artist that wants to make a song is entitled and the media needs to stop over analyzing and trying to slander Obama @ every chance. If anything rap artist in particular are reaching an audience that may not actually tune in to a debate or even pick up a magazine/newspaper to read/learn about politics, let alone the candidates.

Just because this may be the way people think it doesn’t mean that artist should chose silence .. I don’t think its fair at all. The campaign will move forward regardless of how many songs are put out there because its SOLID .. that’s whay every1 needs to be mindful. The candidacy is more than a rap song or Larry King interview. Obama = change and whether the masses want to recognize it or not, it is truely time for CHANGE.

Every time I see a pic of Bow, I always spot a new tattoo! He is covered with tattoos now, lol. That tattoo across his chest must be new. Still looking good tho. But Souljah Boy? Umm, no comment!
