AOL Black Voices gossip columnist Jawn Murray wrote a post detailing a phone call he received from a friend of Usher’s wife Tameka Foster-Raymond, who claimed to have information about Usher cheating with singer Kelly Rowland.
Jawn very wisely chose to dismiss the allegation because he suspected Tameka Foster was behind it.
I listened to all of the allegations, despite the fact that said “friend” was full of generalizations and would begin mumbling and stuttering when I probed for specifics. (It was as though whoever had prepped her for this call had given her a brief outline instead of a detailed script to follow.)
But while this “friend” of the couple’s may have been legit, I didn’t buy her story one bit. READ MORE…
As you already know, I wrote a similar post about Usher and Tameka breaking up. But I retracted my post after receiving emails from two loyal readers who are also industry insiders.
They attended Tyler Perry’s private Sunday brunch at his home two weeks ago and they saw Tameka and Usher “all over each other” at the brunch. They said the couple left together in his charcoal grey Porsche — hardly the behavior of a married couple on the outs with each other.
In the coming months, expect to see a slew of Usher and Tameka “break up” stories on The Internet.
It’s obvious that Usher’s mom/manager Jonetta Patton and Tameka are behind these fake rumors because they are desperate to revive Usher’s career. They hope the image of Usher as a single man will make him more appealing to his female fans.
Jonetta and Tameka are too arrogant to see that Usher’s fans abandoned him long ago because of his bizarre behavior, crazy antics and total disrespect toward his fans. Arrogance substituted for swagger is never appealing.
The only way Usher is going to revive his career is by making a hit record. Until then, his career is dead in the water.
