Chris Brown Once Threw Dishes At His Mama

I hate to keep bringing up old drama, but loyal member donnia points out that, according to Life & Style magazine, the police had to be called to a Miami hotel room to break up a fight between Chris Brown and his own his mom back in 2007.

At an unnamed hotel in Miami in 2007, police were called to Chris’ hotel room where the singer had been “screaming and throwing dishes.”

“He was fighting with his mom. Neighboring hotel guests alerted security and they came upstairs to the room, saw the broken dishes and the mess, and then asked his mother to leave the room. Police were then called, but charges were not filed as Chris simply paid the hotel bill and left the hotel.” [LINK]

Now this would be right around the time that mama Brown was allegedly telling friends about that alleged steamy relationship between young Chris and his 30-something manager. [LINK]

Mom was on a mission to break that up but she couldn’t fire the manager due to her ironclad contract with Chris.

OK… So I see throwing dishes but I don’t see throwing dishes at his mom.. Could that be a leap on your part Sandra. The dishes could have been thrown down on the floor or across the room.. Throwing dishes does not equate to abuser. And if it does, almost everyone I know is an abuser male/female/child etc…

I read several comments about people knew this was happening and why didnt they step in etc. Well from my experience, if they dont wanna leave they aint leavin.

One night (of many bruises) my cousin confronted her boyfriend because she found out he had another female in her apartment. She got in his face and he walked away.

She got in his face again and spit in his mouth, next thing I knew he punched her like a dude, three times so hard her coffee brown face turned blue black.

I called 911, they came and arrested him and dont you know she went right back to him THE next day. I was like wow!!!

So here I am (again) tryin to talk some sense into her, he came out the bedroom got in my face yellin, tellin me I was just mad because she had a man takin care of her and I didnt.

Of course I had somethin to say to that, “aint she takin care of you” then he pushed me. Right as he pushed me my brother walked in, saw it and proceeded to crack that jaw bone.

Only after she went home one day to an empty apartment, discovered he cleaned out her bank account and maxed out her credit card did she decide to leave hime alone.

Sorry yall, I tried to make it short, I left alot out.

Thousands of Rihanna devotees are expected to take part in the pre-St. Valentine’s Day protest, arranged by radio station WBLI and the wounded singer’s fan club officials.

The supporters are upset with Brown after he reportedly lashed out at his girlfriend during an early-morning row on Sunday.

The singer allegedly left Rihanna with cuts and bruises to her face, which prompted the Umbrella hitmaker to seek medical attention and then pull out of a scheduled performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

Brown, who has been charged with making criminal threats, also cancelled his appearance at the Grammy’s.

WBLI operations manager Nancy Cambino hopes to turn the Chris Brown protest into a ‘Shred Your Ex’ party, urging anyone caught up in the wrong relationship to dump their partner on the eve of St. Valentine’s Day.

She says, “Valentine’s Day should stand for love, so we find it fitting to make the Friday the 13th a day for revenge for those who were unlucky in love. Whether you’re a Rihanna fan or not, we can all empathize with being with someone who caused love to go wrong.”

The New York protest will begin on Friday morning outside the radio station’s studios in West Babylon, New York.

I’m getting so tired of this mess. Do you want to know why Chris acts the way he do? This might hurt some girls feelings however, Mr Brown has been physically attracted to men since elementary school. He tries not to act out on it and believes that having a relationship with RI will make things better. Oh well it is what it is.

I was just reading an interview Chris’s aunt gave earlier today and her comments were very similiar to some I have read on this blog, which leads me to believe she or other family members and friends may be responsible for the posting of many of the comments here. I want to say I stand by what I wrote. My views have not change. However, I would like to add. I, like many others, in no way see Chris as a monster. I do believe Chris’s needs to learn from his actions and NEVER repeat the behavior he is accused of every again. I don’t think he should make any public statements about this situation. Believe it or not, I don’t want to see him go to jail or have this ruin his life. I did want to see his spanked around a little (loss endorsements, no air play and fans speaking out). I believe in order for US to accept responsibility and change negative behaviors there must be some negative consequences. What I may not have written earlier, but do acknowledge, Chris is a kid. He is a kid who, like many kids, exercised poor judgement. I really hope beyond hope that he learns from his mistake and never repeats this behavior. There is NEVER justification for a man to strike a woman – NEVER. I was once a kid and as a kid I too made mistakes that I have put behind me and have been forgiven. I do believe Chris will be able to do the same.
