For the 2nd time in as many weeks, I awake to find emails from “concerned” readers about a certain blogger who, they claim, has a substance abuse problem. They say she got drunk recently and put her hand through a glass door…
OK — what does that have to do with me? This may surprise some of you, but we have never met and I have never spoken to her on the phone. We communicate occasionally through emails, and that’s about it.
People with substance abuse problems have to hit the wall before they finally decide to seek help. Until then, there is not much anyone can do, but offer their support and love.
And putting her on blast will not solve the problem.
