Reality TV personality and former Xscape lead singer, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle celebrated her 34th birthday yesterday in Atlanta. Tiny was joined by family and friends at a party hosted by Grand Hustle comedian Lil Duval. Other guests included former band member Kandi Burrus, rapper Rasheeda and Tiny & Toya co-star Antonia Carter.

Even though her baby, rapper T.I. is currently incarcerated, his presence was still felt. T.I. gifted Tiny with a 10-carat diamond ring and a diamond pendant in addition to a Louis Vuitton handbag.

Okay, Okay, Okay.

Because of Daisy comments I broke down and watched another episode. (Plus I forgot to take it off my dvr list)

I was really shocked at the way TI treats Tiny. He seems as if he doesn’t want her to do anything with out him. (Checking pictures to see if any men outside of his camp was allowed at the party). My heart really went out to her. I could never see myself being controlled by a man to the point I couldn’t leave the house without him calling beefing.

She got all dressed up to go out with her friends and couldn’t even go out.

Like tweeter these reality shows expose too much of your favorite celeb. Sometimes these things we need not know.

& I agree Toya needs to get past that Lil Wayne BS. We’ve all had a first love. First heart break. But you were 14 then. How many years ago was that. Move on girl. You are too pretty and young to be wasting your energy on Wayne.

@ice you know my hurt after seeing how he treats her but she was on the radio yesterday and said he was proud of the show. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with it so if she likes it I love it!

as always iscream I agree with you as far as how he treats her and being shocked. But I’ve learned first hand that when you’re done wrong for so long and accept it, this is the result. An insecure man. When he’s at the point where you’re really all he has and he REALIZES it finally… they become clingy. And she seems to have that southern mentaility when it comes to her man: stick by him no matta what.

I’m all for standing by your man (ride or die chick as we call them.) But dizzam! He is taking it overboard. How many times did she say to him. I tried to wake you up but you was knocked out. I tried kissing on you but you wouldn’t wake up. I wish they would’ve played what he was saying on the other line. (I’m getting misty eyed for her as I type this.)

She wants to sing. He won’t let her.
She wants to open a business. He won’t support her.
She wants to go to her friends house. He wants to know whose there. (Why did she have to explain one of them was married.)

She did say that season 2 would have to be filmed b4 he got out cause she would be with him after that..lol Like I said before she doesnt have a problem with it or she would do something about so its her choice. Based on what she said on the radio he does support the show and the shop so maybe he is coming around after seeing her be a little unhappy.

She also said she didnt see what the big deal was about the kids being on stage at the BET awards now that made me give my radio the *sideye*..lol

@coaretained if it’s going to affect her relationship then it will be hard. If Tiny ever decide to leave that relationship it will be hundreds lined up to fill her shoes and will not complain one bit. Some people critisize her for what she is doing but at the same time i am sure if some have what she has @ home they would not say anything except how happy they are with their man who gives them and take care of home. It is not like she never worked before, i guess all the wanting to do the music thing comes from alot of bloggers and people reporting to her what other people are writting about her, so i guess it is more to let people know that you see me with Tip all the time constantly making fun of her about how she is underneath him, now we see that is not the case. If a too many folks stay out of thier business they will be just fine.

I can’t believe SR’s not posting clips of the show. It all makes sense now. I used to wonder why she wasn’t singing or doing anything related to music after all these years. She’s now putting groups together and working on other projects.

I dont know if it’s how t.i. envisioned his “lady” while growing up, but dude, we knew of Tiny waaaaaaaayyyyy before t.i. was relevant. Laying your identity aside for your relationship (seemingly) has got to be tough on her. She’s doing what a lot of women will do. As mentioned before, my concern for her is when or if this runs out or suddenly stops, now what? She seems passive when it comes to her relationship cuz she wants to keep the peace. I’m all for a chick gettin her money on her own.

It could be things t.i. seen as a kid and vowed to not let his lady go through it, but hopefully he’ll see it’s overkill and tearing away at her slowly that she can’t have an identity, but cuz she loves him like no tomorrow, she’s giving in. Remember the rumor he messed around with slutty Hoopz and Tiny went on the radio? She was so hurt and people tried to make a mockery of her. Team Tiny ever since.

I have a girlfriend who used to work at the comedy club that was downtown when Earthquake was the host and she said Tiny and TI used to come in there all the time and she would just be sitting there while he and his friends were flirting and drinking. It seems that she is so in love she is overlooking his controlling ways. She can sing, but the way she talks makes Beyonce sound educated. I did not know her mother was white, that explains her high yellow color.

I’m glad so many of ya’ll are Team Tiny like me I stan’s for Tiny no homo. She is just genuine even if it is country. don’t forge so is Tip. On his show remember when they were at dinner she was trying to schedule part 2 to some lovin and He said can’t scare me with a good time? Who under 50 and not in the south says that :). Like I told Daisy yesterday imo there are cracks visible. Seems to me her man and kids are starting to not be enough for her and any real man would let his woman live her dreams. I think his intentions are good not wanting her to half to work, trying to protect her but you know what they say about good intentions. If he don’t let her live there will be nothing left for him to love. Since obviously the love is there they REALLY should go to some counseling maybe an outside proffesionaly could help[ the ensure that love can continue and strengthen in a healthy way. My only complaint to Tiny (cept I agree with whoever said bout her always showing toomuchtittie) is that hair color. She looks better dark. I saw Khandi tried to go blonde too and also ended up with that brassy orangy barbie doll color.
