Two DeKalb County police officers have been suspended for using county equipment to run a personal background check on Barack Obama. DeKalb County is a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.
According to the AJC, the two officers, Ryan White and C.M. Route, were placed on administrative leave for using a computer mounted in a patrol car to run a query on Obama on July 20.
Such behavior, said William “Miz” Miller, DeKalb Public Safety director, is not to be tolerated.
