That’s the story behind the first week sales battle between “Run This Town” by Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West and Miley Cyrus’ latest “Party In the USA.”
The hottest new song in the country is Miley Cyrus’ latest “Party in the USA” [with] an expected 200,000 copies sold.
“Run This Town” is the second single from Jay-Z’s upcoming album The Blueprint 3. Billboard estimates the song will sell a total of 150-170,000 copies in its first week… Not shabby at all, but not good enough to be the hottest new single around.
