Put ‘Em On Blast: DJ Chuck T

Hey Sandra:

I ran across this website and wanted to know your thoughts. I’m a brown skinned beauty with a gorgeous 10 month old son. His father is DJ Chuck T (the DList Mixtape DJ who leaked Lil Wayne’s Album). He has chose to be with a LSLH/mixed “model” and her three children (by another man) while his son and I are on the other side of town fending for ourselves.

He refuses to see the child at my place “out of respect” for the girlfriend. He blogs about his “baby mama” issues on twitter all day trying to gain sympathy. I’ve been called a “basic bitch,” “bum,” and his recent pleas have been for 50 cent to save me like he did Officer Ricky’s baby mama so he can lower his child support payments (www.twitter.com/djchuckt).

He filed for visitation/custody when our son was less than a month old. The girlfriend, his mother and sister have coached him on how to provoke me to anger then record the aftermath for court. It’s just wrong on so many levels. What’s your advice?

Get an education…..get a good job and a new man…..and if he doesn’t want to see his son don’t beg him…because he is the one who will be hurt at the end…because that very same child he chooses to ignore will be the very same one who may have to take care of him when he gets old……..So don’t fret get a good male role-model in you child’s life and keep it moving and let things unfold…

Message to the dudes who believe LSLH is the THANG!!

Tips on preserving your LSLH:
1. Do not smoke around them or allow them to smoke
2. Keep makeup to a minimum, if you can…some of them need to wear it I know
3. Try moving to a city with fewer pollutants in the air.
4. Encourage them to drink plenty of water at leas ½ gallon a day
5. Remind them that Light skinned folks get ashy too. Moisturizing is important
7. Let them know that DARK eyeliner adds years.

If you follow these steps: You may be able to keep them longer.

As a responsible and mature woman, all I can say is to raise your child the best way you can, and prepare to do it minus your childs father.

You can’t make someone do anything they don’t want to do, and as hard as it may be, you shouldn’t hold any animosity against the other woman (or her church momma arms). Some people are mean and miserable for no reason and want everyone else to feel the same. Don’t let her steal your joy.

As for DJ whats his name (never even heard of), he’ll have his day in court on judgement day.

I’m a be real with it and go into ebonics. There are three sides to every story and I am speaking from experience. My hubby has an outside child that was conceived prior to our relationship. Anyway, before me he was basically DOING IT ALL!!!! The chick was an able bodied female but refused to work. Therefore, dad was providing for the child and the household cuz he was under the impression aka guilt trip that he had to do everything. Seriously, the kid lived w/mom but dad was paying bills so “his son could have lights”, daycare, buying groceries so his son could eat and etc. On top of that still paying child support. Then I came in and shut down shop. Of course we got serious and accumulated bills (property, vehicles, had our kids, etc) and he was no longer able to continue taking care of the other household. Therefore he was considered dead beat. Anyway, my solution was if she can’t provide a roof for her child, shelter and etc then the child needs to live with the parent that can provide. LONG STORY SHORT THESE CHICKS LIKE TO SIT ON THEY BUTTS COLLECT WELFARE AND CRY THE VICTIM WHEN THEY AINT DOING THERE SHARE. IT TAKES TWO TO MAKE A CHILD AND BOTH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING. I DON’T THINK ONE SHOULD BE MORE RESPONSIBLE THAN THE OTHER. Nonetheless, I was looked at and still am looked at as the cause of the problem. But I don’t care because I had to talk some sense into dude cuz women will use the child for any and every situation. For example, commenting on how they struggling and he taking care of my son (outside child) and we living good. Whatever honey stop collecting checks, claiming to go to school for over 10 years and yet u have no degree to show for it.

THIS IS NOT GEARED @ THE SISTA THAT SENT IN HER SITUATION FOR ADVICE BUT I HAD TO POINT OUT HOW SOME SISTA’S TRY TO BLAME DUDE FOR EVERYTHING. AT THE END OF THE DAY I KNOW MY HUBBY CAN WALK AWAY WHENEVER HE FEELS LIKE IT AND I HAVE TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOR MY KIDS NO MATTER.

The LSLH drama needs to stop. So what is she is LSLH? Would it be different if she was dark skinned and had short hair? We, meaning,people of color, really need to put the color difference aside and take responsibilty for our actions. First, she was not married to him. She chose to with him and got pregnant. Second, to let another person anger you to the point that you could loose some time with your son is absurd. As lon as no physical harm has been done, keep it moving. In essence, use that energy you are using towards anger towards something positive for you and your child because sweetheart you are not hurting his feelings by putting him “on blast” on SR.

Other than the tweeting it doesn’t sound like he has done anything wrong. He needs to cool it with the public disrespect of his child’s mother. That is not cool at all.

She doesn’t describe him as a deadbeat dad. He is paying child support and seeing his child by her own admission. The fact that he will not come over her house to see him is not a fault. I have long believed that non custodial parents don’t need to be hanging at the home of the co-parent outside the presence of their mates. It sounds like she is not over him and is trying to get alone time with him.

All she did by sending this was to make herself look bitter, and prove she still wants to be with him.
