Beyonce is still considered A-list (for now), but superstar Rihanna is commanding (and getting) more money than Beyonce to sit front row at the prestigious fashions shows when she attends New York’s Fashion Week next week. Beyonce Stans will not be happy to hear this. But such is life. They’ll get over it!

The NY Fashion Week excitement begins on Feb. 11.

NAWWWWWW, NOW MISS TINA HAD SOME BIG GIRLS DRESSED ONE DAY! I’m not lying, it was some very regular clothes. I believe it was a tunic, and some nice jeans, and some stillettos.

It may have been the fact that the big girls were dressed according to their size, and it looked nice, which is rare.

Badgley Mischka’s high end stuff you can’t get from there, but the other’s you can. He makes wedding dresses that retail up to $24,000. So it’s obvious he has made a name for himself and he has a reputation for excellent quality. I believe Dooney & Bourke are also featured on QVC-I love all of my DB purses and I know the quality is great. If you read some of the reviews for Miss Tina, you would see ppl complain about the quality–purses and shoes falling apart after a few months.

I bought a nice Mischka Cage bag from HSN…I loved it…until the strap popped. I admit, I used it as a work bag, w/ laptop and all kinds of heavy stuff, but I sent it back to HSN and got a full refund ($300+). I carried the bag for three weeks. Thats the level of service you get when you fu.ck with HSN. She’s in good company.

@Nika…try Velvet Remi (from Outre). It’s the bomb; no shedding, all cuticles (?) same direction, its expensive but..it can be reused, heat-styled, colored.

The only thing I would say is don’t get it if you take issue with the way the hair is acquired….It’s Indian hair.

Thanks guys! I’m starting to work out at lunchtime, and 1hr is not enough time to workout/shower/comb hair. And I wear a hat so much now whenever I do have my hair out/combed my coworkers ask “did you change your hair”? I have never worn a weave would be the correct term. I have had braids before.

I’ve worn a sew in twice in my life. The second one was with Milky Way hair and it had to come out on day 3 because the chit tangled SO bad. I would NEVER recommend getting that hair. They said the black doesn’t tangle but I had a blended brown/blonde and that chit looked like a rat in a mouse trap attached to the back of my head.

every once in a while you can get a bad bag of hair, even Outre Velvet. I wore hair sewn in for a year and one time, i got a bag of that Velvet hair that tangled, and i swore it was made of 100% dog hair! but all the others times i have had it, including right now, it has been good

It’s for a wig so I can take it off when I work out and at night. I am a sleep sweater so my own hair has to be done EVERY day for it to look good. So we are going to try a wig because my hair is too short for a sew in and I sweat to much for a glue in.

bigtyme is SO right, you just never know sometimes. but since you are going thru the trouble of making a wig, you need the hair to be on point. so try not to pick a bag of hair that cost less the $50 or $60 to be on the safe side. always ask the clerk if they have receive complaints lately about any particular brands.

I order my hair from Lugo’s. It’s expensive, but I was able to reuse my hair for about 8 to 9 months.

a guy who worked in the hair shop gave me a tip the first time i had my hair sewn in. don’t use any products w/ alcohol in them. use only silicon or silk products. the alcohol in a lot of our hair products damages the hair. oh, and any type of moisturizing shampoo or conditioner will have it looking oily.
