My oldest just started Kindergarten. She loves it. She rides the school bus and everything. I love it because she comes home and is ready to go to bed by 7:30. It’s good that he is so protective over his baby sis.

My two are very close as well. London waits at the door for Sydney to come home and gets excited when we go to the bus stop to get her. I hope they stay close.

$210 per week! I can’t do that! That’s less than $50 from what I pay in rent. I was mad paying $140 a week for my four year old. I hope you break your baby out of that habit, because the older she gets the harder it will be. I’m speaking from experience…I watched my parents and younger brother make themselves miserable.

I know that’s right. I started working from home when London made four months old and she hasn’t been in daycare since. Screw that! She knows just as much if not more as them without all the bad habits like biting and fighting.

@Wut its a learning center…and its the bomb…they are teaching her how to write her name and they take field trips, and bring petting zoos to the school…last week I went on a field trip with them to the water park…

Its worth $210/month IF we could afford it…

I know…its already miserable….like last night me and hubby had “nice” night….and of course we didnt put no clothes back on right…well here she comes busting in…talking bought I’m sleepy mama…I’m like go back in YOUR bed…she’s like but YOUR bed is better….her lil smart ass…:lol:

My girl is just like that. If my daugher poots in her sleep in her room she damn near leaps out the bed. If she bumps her knee in the kitchen my girl will dive over the couch and tuck and roll like black ops.

All the daycares up here are in that ballpark but you still have to check em because some of them teach, others just babysit.

My oldest attended one too and it makes a HUGE difference. She just made 5 in July and she knows how to write sentences and can read simple books on her own. She was taught phonics daily and can figure out most words on her own. They also learned Spanish and math, science, etc. She says they are writing letters in Kindergarten and I hope she doesn’t get bored. She’s been doing letters since she was three. heck my two year old knows her letters and numbers by sight. If you can sacrifice it may be worth it. I’m a single mom so I definitely understand trying to do that all on one income though.

My parents did that with my lil brother and sister and BABY it taught me NOT to even start it with mine!!
He has always slept in his own bed and by 6months, he was in his own room.

You have to be persistent. London just got her toddler bed this weekend and she keeps popping out. I simply tuck her in and tell her this is her new bed. She has gotten better and she sleeps in it all night now. It’s hard to tell them lil boogers no though

Years ago a study showed Baby Einstein actually placed children behind. There was a huge ruckus behind it and refunds given, etc. The children actually spoke fewer words and scored lower on tests.

@Htown… I never heard about the study however several on my friends kids were beyond other kids in their classes. Interesting my boyfriend’s daughter mom used it with her she has been a straight A student and this year she started the 7th grade in all honors classes.
But then again both of her parents are smart
