Miami Heat Basketball star LeBron James was seen arriving at Manchester Airport with the rest of the men’s USA Olympic Backetball team ahead of their exhibition game at the Manchester Arena against Team Great Britain. Remember I told you that we British don’t coddle celebrities? When was the last time you saw elite basketball stars struggling to push their own luggage through an airport in the United States?
Considered the team to beat in the London Olympic games, Team USA consists of James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, Deron Williams, Kevin Love, OKC’s Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Chris Paul (pictured above with Harden); and New Orleans Hornets’ rookie Anthony Davis (pictured below). Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is out due to planned surgery on his left knee.
The London Olympics begin on July 27th.
