Troubled singer Rihanna tweeted a photo of the cover for her upcoming single “Diamonds”. The black & white cover features the Bajan singer simulating rolling a blunt with diamond rocks instead of marijuana seeds.

Despite the obvious drug imagery, Rihanna, who exhibits symptoms of bipolar disorder, told Z-100’s Elvis Duran that “Diamonds” has a “positive” message.

“The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it’s about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I’m excited to surprise them sonically,” she said.

“It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it,” she told Z-100 radio host Elvis Duran in Las Vegas, where she performed at the iHeartRadio festival, NME.com reports.

She added that the song is “laid back” and “hopeful” continuing that it is a “happy and hippy record.”

Rihanna posted the cover on her new website, Rihanna7.com. The website, which is unfinished, features the cover, RiRi’s now familiar logo, and not much else.

The album has a confirmed November release and marks Rihanna’s fourth album release in November. Rihanna’s last album, Rated R, took almost 6 months to go gold.

Rihanna also tweeted a sympathy message to Karrueche Tran, the woman who was recently dumped by Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

If anyone knows what it feels like to go through a very public breakup, it’s Rihanna.
