Jovan Belcher 911 call

The newborn baby of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher can be heard crying hysterically in the background of a 911 tape obtained by TMZ.

3-month-old Zoey Belcher may have been in the same room where Belcher, 25, shot Kasandra Perkins, 22, multiple times during an argument that turned violent early Saturday. Belcher then drove to the nearby Chiefs training facility and committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager.

Belcher’s mother, Cheryl Shepherd, who placed the 911 call, can be heard pleading with Perkins as she cradled her in her arms, “Kasandra, stay with me! The ambulance is on the way. You hear me? You hear me? Kasandra! Stay with me!”

“She’s barely moving,” Shepherd told the dispatcher. “Please hurry. I don’t know how many times he shot her. They had been arguing.”

Belcher reportedly spent Friday night with another woman before returning home Saturday morning, where he argued with Perkins.

After shooting her 9 times, Belcher kissed the dying woman on her forehead before leaving the house.
