DC rapper Wale was spotted out & about wearing a pair of unreleased NIKE LeBron X ‘Cork edition’ sneakers from the LeBron James 2013 Collection. The unique shoes feature upper material crafted from genuine cork.
According to themarsreel.com, LeBron’s “X NSW cork edition honors the tradition of cork-popping champagne celebrations,” like the celebration LeBron and his Miami Heat teammates held in the locker room when they won the NBA title last year.
The LEBRON X Cork Edition sneakers will go on sale Saturday, February 23. The basketball shoes are part of NIKE’s series of signature basketball shoes remixed with premium materials for non-performance use.
