Love was in the air as Pastor Touré Roberts and One Church International celebrated “Kingdom Love” with newlyweds DeVon Franklin, SVP, Columbia/Tri Star Pictures and author of Produced By Faith, and Meagan Good, star of NBC’s new hit series Deception, on Valentine’s Day.
Good, 31, and Franklin — who have been married less than a year — shared their story of love and how their alignment with God brought them together.
DeVon and Meagan encouraged single people to “wait upon the Lord” when it comes to Love.
“If you settle, you will never be as happy as you could be,” said Good. “When you are obedient you get excited about the wait. Spend time being excited about what your purpose is. Be excited about who you are supposed to be.”
Pastor Franklin added: “A man of substance committed to God will find the right heart that God has for him. As a man, you’ll get beyond someone who is just attractive,” he said. “If you go out with someone who is beautiful but there’s no substance there, you’ll get tired of that. At a certain point God will allow you to keep dating the same type in order to show you that you have to go after what he’s called you to go after.”
Good also appealing directly to the “misfits” in their walk with Christ. “God loves you. That promise is to you. If God wants to change something in you, he will tell you if you seek him.”
“People want to see a real Christian, and a real Christian is not someone who simply knows the bible from Genesis to Revelations, but someone who knows love from A to Z” said Pastor Roberts (pictured above right).
“DeVon and Meagan embody God’s spirit of love and demonstrate that when God is in control the Lord’s blessings upon you will extend far beyond what you could ever ask or imagine.”

That show sucked ass and I could tell you the whole plot and what was gonna happen for the whole season from the first episode. The writers was on some my first show kinda thing which made it very predictable. BOOOOOO try again however I did like seeing Laz and Meagan.

Yup. I saw lots of places and one had the price at $375, but all those other sites the brows didn’t look good. And you know they put their best work on the site. The place I’m going Tuesday seems to be better at knowing how to shape them.
I’m doing a thin line just like Meg’s that way if the trend gets thicker maybe I’ll slap on a little brow powder. But I personally don’t like them thick and don’t usually go with trends.

I’m aiming for 135. My Air Force weight. I usually diet like a lunatic and work out so I can get real quick results. Now I’m doing the lifestyle change thingy. No dieting. Just keeping those calories in check at no more than 1500 a day. Working out like crazy. Got it in my mind that it’s going to take a year to get there so I don’t get discouraged at the slow rate of loss.

Since you giys were talking about lifestyle changes and dieting and whatnot, has anyone had lipo done. Been looking into it, it’s expensive – but since it’s not cutting into my skin I’m really thinking about it. My 30’s have been unforgving on my body. 9 MONTHS – ARE YOU SERIOUS!! Oh Hell No, they told be the bruising would only be a few days or a week at the most. See, I’m glad I asked, cause when I read the reviews about it online, all I ever saw was good results, but you can’t always trust online reviews. I hope that you’ve recovered okay. I’ve heard that the fat can come back in different areas. That’s what has prevented me so far from doing it.
