It’s hard to keep track of all the rappers who have been cuffed in the past year alone. Add rapper Jim Jones to the list (again).
NorthJersey.com reports Jones was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and hindering apprehension in Fair Lawn Wednesday.
Police say Jones, 37, interfered with a vehicle that was being ticketed and towed (or repossessed).
Jones agreed to pay the fee but he allegedly became belligerent when a records search revealed prior warrants for failing to shovel a sidewalk and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Jones posted bail on the prior warrants and was given a Feb. 27 court date. He was previously arrested in February 2012 for driving without a license.
The hip-hop artist-turned reality TV star gained fame as a member of the rap group the Diplomats. He’s best known for his only hit, “We Fly High”.
