Those of you who suffered through the first 2 seasons of Basketball Wives LA can rest easy: there won’t be a 3rd season.
The series, which premiered on August 29, 2011, has reportedly been canceled by VH1 due to poor ratings. BBWLA was plagued by the same problems that affected other urban reality shows, such as the anemic Love and Hip Hop NY. Producers are having a hard time finding new ways to to keep the public interested in fake, scripted reality shows.

But Basketball Wives Miami has not been cancelled . . .YET. But it may be on the CHOPPING BLOCK TOO. Last season’s ratings were BY FAR the worst ever for the show.
