Embattled singer Chris Brown took to his Twitter account today to respond to the LA city attorney charging him with hit-and-run.
The 24-year-old singer’s name has been a mainstay in the headlines over the last few years, but it looks it he may not be in the wrong this time.
If you recall, Brown and his longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran were involved in a fender bender back in May. Brown’s SUV tapped the bumper of another woman’s vehicle. He got out, exchanged information with the woman, took a few photos of the minimal damage, then left the scene.
Now Brown is accusing gossip website TMZ of “yellow journalism” for bullying him and reporting the new charges.
“My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!,” Brown wrote.

Brown is charged with driving without a valid license and leaving the scene of an accident without exchanging information. According to the woman, Brown refused to hand over his license to her. Brown faces 6 months in jail if convicted. He also faces jail time if the judge in his domestic violence case against Rihanna revokes his probation.
