The daughter of old skool rapper DJ Quik (pictured left) has been arrested and charged with the beating death of her 2-year-old son, reports Allhiphop.com.
Davienna Blake, 21, of Arizona, (pictured right) is accused of beating the toddler with a belt after he wet the bed. Blake’s boyfriend, Darnell Moses Alverez, 24, is also charged with beating the boy with his fists.
The coroner’s report listed numerous blunt force injuries including multiple bruising, internal bleeding, and a lacerated liver.
Witnesses have come forth to state that Alverez often beat the toddler for wetting the bed. According to Phoenix police, the couple argued over whether to take the boy to a hospital after he stopped breathing.
Bedwetting (Enuresis) often occurs during sleep, when the child has no control over it. It is not their fault. Almost all children grow out of bedwetting.
