By now you’ve seen the amateurish looking trailer for the upcoming TLC biopic “CrazySexyCool”. The made-for-TV movie stars KeKe Palmer (as Chilli), Drew Sidora (as T-Boz) and Lil Mama as the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. Like all the previous attempts to help the surviving members of TLC stay relevant, this too shall pass.

The truth is Left Eye was the spark that gave TLC life. Once Left Eye died, TLC died with her. Lil Mama as Left Eye is an insult. No wonder the Lopes family didn’t sign on for this project.

One rumor that was quickly laid to rest is that Lil Mama has joined TLC on a permanent basis. According to Rhymeswithsnitch, the rapper will perform with T-Boz and Chilli for a one off concert at the Mixtape Festival in Hershey Park, PA on July 27, to promote the release of a new TLC album in October.
