Music producer Kanye West claims his future wife, Kim Kardashian, is more “intriguing” and “influential” than first lady Michelle Obama.
West, 36, made the controversial statements in a new interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, this week. West is still insulted that Vogue magazine cut Kim out of a photo featuring him at the MET Costume Gala earlier this year. He is also peeved that Vogue Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour passed Kim over for a coveted cover.
“There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue,” he whined. “She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday.”
“Collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing,” he boasted. “None is looking at what [President Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.”
Hey Kanye, you have to admit the Obamas are pretty darn fashionable! Like, if you wanted to pick a fight with Hillary Clinton’s pantsuits, we’d maybe understand.
Of course, this isn’t exactly the first time the Prez and ‘Ye have had beef; first, Barack called Kanye a “jackass” after he VMA-bombed Taylor Swift. Then in an interview with Amazon earlier this year, the President described a shift in culture and the changing vision of the American dream.
“Kids weren’t monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success,” he explained. Source
