The moment I saw the new photo of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, on Kim’s Instagram page, I sensed something was odd about it. The area above Nori’s eyes was “pixelized” — a sure sign that the image was Photoshopped.
Soon there was speculation that Kim took her infant to a salon to have her eyebrows waxed. One Instagram user wrote: “Eyebrows done already?” Another user wrote: “I’ve never seen a baby with arched even eyebrows. Her unibrow was cute, why get rid of it?”
But clearly the speculators missed the obvious. Why would Kim have her daughter’s unibrow waxed when Photoshopping is so painless?
This isn’t the first Photoshopped image we’ve seen of North West. The very first image released by Kim was also heavily altered. We know Kim is a narcissist, but is image that important to her that she would Photoshop her baby’s adorable unibrow?
As speculation ran rampant, one of Kim’s reps told UK’s Daily Mail the accusations were “completely false.”
